The next morning came by soon, the sun shining through the curtains, my head resting on the pillow as Lionel's hand was draped around me, spooning my figure.
If I were to be honest, the moment I opened my eyes and felt Lionel's skin against mine, I wished I could stop time and stay like this forever, together safe and sound
"Good morning, darling" Lionel whispered softly as he pushed his face in the crook of my neck
"Morning, love" I said as- wait...fuck
"Love?" Lionel repeated in an inquisitive tone, sitting up slightly to look at me
I looked at him as well, to see that he had his eyebrow rose in a confused yet surprised way
And at that moment I wished for the ground to open up and swallow me
"Sorry..." Sorry? SORRY?

"Why are you saying sorry?" Lionel asked...and I'm honestly asking myself the same question
"Well uhh" c'mon, nothing will make it worse "I didn't mean to call you that..." you just made it worse
Lionel let out a small chuckle before kissing my lips, to which my eyes widen in surprise and my face flushed red
"You look cute all worked up and flustered" he said as he pulled away "I'll go take a shower...love"
And then he got up and left, entering the bathroom and closing the door, while I just stood in bed...flustered, surprised and most of all confused
I blinked a few times before taking his pillow, putting it over my face and screaming in it, kicking my feet up as well, feeling like a girl who's crush just confessed that they like her back

I chucked as I heard Y/N let out a muffled scream, most probably screaming into the pillow.
After I turned on the water and took my boxers off, I got into the shower, the water drops soaking my skin, a content feeling filling my body
She called me love...
I couldn't help but smile as the moment replayed in my head. She was obviously still sleepy and her brain couldn't process what she was supposed to say...which made me even happier
