"Hey Jess" I said as Jessica finally picked up the phone, it being the morning after she proposed to Cait "how did the proposal go?"

"YOU KNEW?!" Cait shouted through the phone...

"Hiii Cait" I said, letting out an awkward chuckle "I thought I was calling Jessica"

"You are, I just picked up because she's in the shower" she said

"Oh, uhm that's great" I spoke, the awkwardness being heard in my voice

"So, when did you know?" asked Cait

"Know about what, exactly?" I inquired, acting clueless

"Don't act clueless" so much for that "when did you know about the proposal?"

"Since New Year's" I said

"WHAT?!" she shouted through the phone to which made me move it away from my ear

"Is everything okay darling?" I heard Jessica ask as she had gotten out of the shower

"I'm going to murder you" said Cait with a huff before I heard her give the phone to Jessica

"Hello? Who'd this?" asked Jess

"It's your sister-in-law" I said with a small chuckle

"Ah fuck...now I got it" she chuckled as well "why'd you call?"

"To ask how the proposal went" I said to which Jessica let out a small chuckle

"It went great, she said yes, and then after kissing me she told me she wanted to propose as well and that I'm an asshole"

"That's adorable" I said before pouting "and I'm glad that everything worked out"

"I'm glad too, tell Lionel I'll pay him for the reservation fee"

"Oh you don't have to; it's not like he's going to die because his account has 50 pounds left" I chuckled

"Alright then, text me if anything, and thanks again for the help" said Jess to which I smiled

"It was our pleasure" and with that we bid each other goodbye and I hung up the phone

"Babeeee" whined Lionel softly as he was still lying in bed, me being out on the balcony since I didn't want to wake him up
