"Mommy! Daddy!" beamed Emily as she ran into our room, waking us up
"Hi baby" I said sleepily while Lionel groaned and woke up
"Hello love" He said, hugging Emily before pecking her cheeks to which she giggled
"How was your first day at school?" I asked, pulling the covers over her
"It was great!" Emily beamed "I made a new friend"
"That's great, what's his name?" I asked
"His name is Liam"
And as those words my eyes widened and I cleared my throat
"Baby, can you give me and mommy some time alone?" Lionel asked to which she nodded before getting off the bed and walking out, closing the door behind her
"Emily is friends with her step brother" I chuckled before siting up and looking at Lionel
"No she isn't" he said before sitting up as well "I refuse to believe that that child is mine."
"Why?"
"Because the only child I have, is the one I raised with you. I don't care if Liam is biologically mine or not, he is no son of mine."
"Lionel...that's, cruel, don't you think?" I said as he cupped my cheeks
"The only cruel thing here, is Vanessa trying to take the Shabandar mafia by baby trapping me...however, I have a plan for that" he said to which I rose an eyebrow
"You're not going to kill her, are you?" I asked at which Lionel chuckled and pecked my forehead
"No, I won't. Don't worry love, I have this covered"

The two of us then got up and dressed into some house clothes before walking downstairs, spending the rest of the evening with Emily, until work called for Lionel
"I'll be quick love; I have to make a phone call" he said as we were both in her room, helping her with homework
"Take your time, love" I replied before pecking his lips

I then pecked Emily's forehead after kissing my wife before walking out of the room and downstairs into my office, dialling Jessica's number and calling her
