"So, what made you realise that Lionel didn't cheat on you?" asked Jessica as I was now at Lionel's house

"Vanessa called me" I said, the two of us sitting in the living-room "she told me everything"

"And you believe her?" she asked

"Well, she seemed to be honest. Especially when it came to telling me about Lionel's love towards me"

"I mean, she is right" she said to which I furrowed my eyebrows

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Lionel called me soon after you ended the engagement, and...he was crying" she replied

"He was?"

"Yeah, he was. And the thing is, he never cried when it came to a woman"

"Oh I'm sure he cried when Vanessa broke his heart" I said and she shook her head

"No, he didn't. You're the only woman he cried after"

And at that moment I couldn't help but feel guilty for not trusting him

"When did he call?" I asked softly

"He called at lunch, he said Vanessa came in to check on him and that's when he broke down crying"

"And after she left he called you?" I asked to which she nodded

"I feel awful" I whispered, putting my head in my hands to which she sighed softly and rubbed my back

"You shouldn't, you had no idea, and just thought what you saw on those pictures" she cooed

Jessica then brought me closer to her and cupped my cheeks

"Now how about you go and rest, and I'll take your stuff from Cait's, how does that sound?"

"That sounds great" I smiled softly before I went upstairs to mine and Lionel's bedroom
