Peyton POV:
"Hey dad how was your trip" Paige says as she engulfs her dad in a hug
"It wasn't too bad just a lot of time sitting" he jokes
"Paigey!" I hear a little kid say excitedly and look down to notice Drew standing next to his father
"Hey little guy, what's up" Paige says smiling down at him and messing up his hair.
"I missed you" Drew says to Paige lifting his arms up indicating he wants her to pick him up which she happily agrees to.
"You must be Peyton, it's nice to meet you, you can call me Bob or Mr. Bueckers whatever you feel comfortable" Paige's dad says extending his hand for a hand shake.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you too!" I say shaking his hand.
"Are you dating my sister" Drew suddenly says which makes me look at him and then at Paige who starts laughing while still holding him on her hip
"Yes I am, is that okay with you" I ask him
"Yea, good luck though, she can be a handful at times" he says which makes me start to laugh
"Hey, that is a not true!" Paige defends trying to stop laughing
"Hmm, I don't know, I think I gotta agree with Drew on this one" I say fist bumping him which he then opens his hand after to make it look like the fist bump had an explosion.
"Alright how about we take this inside it's a bit cold out" Paige's dad says
"Good idea" I say opening the door for Paige to walk through with Drew before Paige's dad holds it open for me to walk in next which I say "Thank you" to him and start walking towards the elevator to go back up to Paige's room.
Once we get to Paige's dorm she puts Drew down and he looks around all the rooms while me, Paige, and her dad start talking again.
"How's your ankle been Paige" her dad asks
"It's getting there" she says
"Alright, and how has school been"
"Pretty good, we got exams coming up though"
"What about you Peyton, how's your school going" he asks turning to me
"It's going good, just starting to study for exams"
"How many exams do you have"
"I think 3 or 4..." I say trying to remember, which makes Paige start laughing because I have a bad memory.
"Oh shut up" I say looking at her and start to laugh since she's laughing at me.
"You have such a bad memory" Paige says
"I remember important stuff though" I say
"So school isn't important?" She asks with a smirk
"That's not what I meant, I meant like important days"
"Oh yea? What's an important day you remember"
"The day you I ran into you at Dunkin"
"Yea you literally ran into me" she says starting to laugh at me
"Wait, what, I want to hear this story" Paige's dad says trying hard not to laugh at as bantering back and forth.
"Basically I was waiting in for my drink with Nika and Christyn, and then Peyton walked into me" Paige says looking at smiling
"You're missing a part though" I say
"Oh yea what part is that" she says smirking again
"The part where my friends Kate and Tori questioned if you guys would beat Arkansas and I had to turn around and tell them they were crazy for thinking you wouldn't win"
"And then you ran into me"
"And then I ran into you" I say as we smile at each other
"So Peyton where are you from" Paige's dad says to break the silence so I quickly stop looking at Paige and look at him
"New Jersey, so about 3ish hours from here"
"That's not too bad, do you have any siblings"
"Wait I can answer this" Paige says "An older brother who goes to Michigan State and a twin sister who goes to High Point" she says confidently
"That is right" I say looking at her and smiling again
"Wait you have a twin? That's pretty cool, do you guys look alike" Paige's dad says
"No, she has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a lefty. And I have brown hair, brown eyes, and a righty"
"That's pretty funny" Paige says
"Yea we are complete opposites. She's a girly girl and I'm a tomboy, so I don't understand how we are twins" I say starting to laugh
"What about your parents, what do they do" he asks
When he asks that my mood dies down, I knew I should've expected him to ask that, but I was hoping he wouldn't.
"My mom is a nurse and my dad works on wall street" I say as Paige gives me a questioning look
"Peyton come play basketball with me!" Drew says excitedly finding a mini hoop on the door and grabbing my hand and pulling me away
