Max and Lewis were in Monaco making the most of the break in between the races. They had both been relaxing, binging TV series, mainly of Drive to Survive because they both found the media's way of portraying their relationship hilarious.
They were currently in the middle of watching an episode of DTS with Max lying on Lewis's chest and Lewis wearing one of Max's jumpers (see image at start of chapter).
George called his teammate on face time to talk over a few things. Lewis had quite forgotten that he was wearing Maxs jumper so just answered the phone where George had a full on view of the jumper. Also in the background was a picture of Lewis and Max on holiday together.
GR- 'Hey Lewis, good afternoon'
LH- Hey George, what's up man
GR- I was just making sure that you were okay for this weekend
LH- Yeah why wouldn't I be
GR- You were a bit sore last weekend when you came out of the car
LH- Well I've had plenty of rest and a good massage
GR- Was that massage given to you by Max Verstappen by any chance
LH- What
GR- You are wearing a jumper with him on it
MV- Shit
GR- And I assume that was him
LH- Well
GR- There is also a picture of you two in the background
Max decided to move into view on the call
GR- Good afternoon Max
MV- Hey George
GR- Now, please explain what is going on between you two, I thought you guys hated eachother, you made me suffer every time you were near eachother
LH- We've been together since the start of the 2021 season
GR- All the media stuff last season
MV- That was to keep us entertained
LH- Yeah man, the comments from our fans were funny as fuck
GR- Does anybody else know about this
MV- Only Kevin, he read our messages in a groupchat that you put us into to talk things out, we thought that everyone has left but Kevin was still there as he had only just read the messages
GR- What did the messages say, or do I not want to know
MV- You don't want to know
GR- Right well I'll be going then
LH- Wait
GR- What
LH- We have something else to tell you, we have also been married since the start of this season
GR- WHAT
MV- Yep, please don't tell anybody else
GR- I won't
Max then hung up on George.
'Well, he seemed to take that well'
'Yeah I can't believe I forgot to take the jumper off'
'Oh well, the damage has been done now'
'Your phone is going to be blown up with messages from him'
'I'll deal with those later, let's finish this episode first'
'Okay then'
