MS: Are you two, actually ever gonna tell your team bosses about this or what
LH: Yeah, eventually
MV: Lew
LH: What
MV: We need to go and plot how to tell daring Christian and Toto
SV: I don't like the sound of that
MV: Oh there's nothing to worry about Sebby
FA: This does not bode well
PG: Just don't forget to get a picture of their faces when you let them know
LN: And a full recounting of what happened
MV: Don't worry, we will come along Lew we have some plotting to do

Max left the room with Lewis in tow and some of the older drivers dreading how they were to tell their esteemed team principles about the fact that they are married

Seb: I am ever so slightly worried about what Max has planned
Val: As am I but I do want to see Toto's face when he finds out
CP: Same with me and Christian

LH: So Maxy what do you have planned
MV: What makes you think that I have anything planned

Lewis didn't say anything he just looked at his husband and raised on eyebrow

Max: I suppose you do have a point there so I was thinking about letting them walk in on us
LH: As much as that might be a good plan, I do still want my job at the end of this
MV: Good point my other suggestion would be to call them around to one of our places and I would answer the door for Toto and you for Christian
LH: Would they be there at the same time or separately
MV: Same time it would make it funnier
LH: I like that plan, now I have a few suggestions on how to improve it.

Lewis whispered his ideas in Max's ear even though there was nobody else around to hear what he was saying. At the end of it. Max laughed and agreed with the slight changes to the plans that he had made. A couple of days later and the plan was put into action.

They decided to invite the two team principles to Lewis's place as that was where they were staying the majority of the time when they weren't at races anyway. The
doorbell rang and Max went to answer the door letting in a slightly confused Toto Wolff.

TW: Max, what the hell are you doing here and where is Lewis, he called me here's he could speak to me
MV: Sit down Toto and Lewis will be here shortly, we are just waiting fir someone else first

Toto sat down on the offered sofa and was grumbling about having to be in the presence of the rival teams number one driver. Thankfully, shortly after Toto arrived the doorbell rang for a second time and Max went to answer it. This time it was Christian at the door.

MV: Ah, Christian, do come in
CH: This doesn't look very much like your flat Max where are....WHY is Toto Wolff here!
MV: Please take a seat
LH: DARLING
MV: YES HONEY
LH: IS THAT FOR ME
MV: I DO BELIEVE THAT YOUR PRESENCE IS REQUIRED, YES
LH: OKAY, I'LL BE THERE IN A SECOND
TW: Was that...

A couple of seconds later, footsteps were heard and Lewis appeared in the doorway of the living room, phone in hand.

CH: Why is Lewis Hamilton here and who was that person we just heard before

Christians voice tailed off towards the end as he realised that Lewis and the person he heard were one in the same. Both Max and Lewis burst out laughing at the look on the faces of their team principles. Lewis had managed to video the moment that they both realised what was going on and the looks on their faces were priceless.

TW: What on earth is going on here
LH: Well dearest Toto, what is going on here is that me and Max are married
CH: WHAT!!!
TW: How long?
MV: Nearly a year
LH: The stuff in the media was to keep them off our backs and off the trail
MV: All that was perfectly fabricated by yours truly
TW: Who else knows
LH: We told all the drivers on the current grid
MV: And that's about it really
CH: Who was the first person to find out
LH: Kevin Magnussen found out by accident
MV: The rest of the drivers made a group chat then added us telling us to sort out our rivalry then left the chat to leave us to it
LH: K-mag hadn't realised that he was part of that group chat yet and was supposed to leave it and we didn't realise he was still in it
MV: Me and Lew talked about our erm bedroom habits and that's when he finally realised that he was in the chat
LH: Safe to say he read our messages then left the chat after being severely traumatised
MV: He couldn't look either of us in the eye for weeks after that happened
LH: I must say that the two of you are taking the whole me and Max being married thing better than I thought you would
TW: Well, I think that we are both still processing the information at the moment
MV: Now, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave to do your processing elsewhere, we have several impatient drivers who want to know what happened

All four of them went to the door and left the flat. Toto and Christian still deep in thought whilst Max and Lewis were bursting to go and show the other drivers the faces of Toto and Christian when they got told the news. All the drivers laughed about what happened for weeks.
