Space.

It's a dead land for the most part.

Particles float and debris soar through a void of nothingness.

And in that void, was the various beacons of safety, or some sort of island of order.

Stars.

Stars are a beautiful thing...

A flash of light can be seen, as a cylindrical machine, a satellite most likely, began to float by.

They are the markers of times in space...

The satellite began to burn, slowly coming apart, as the gravity of a planet with 2 moons began to come into shape.

Sometimes, if you wish to think about it...

Asteroids began to join the unfortunate satellite, which was now being crowned with the light of our sun, revealing the near universal symbols of a certain, North American country.

Stars can be books.

The satellites and asteroids began to descend faster, their fires and trails causing weather anomalies.

Each star can be the story of a planet.

The satellite has broken atmosphere and so has the asteroids, the massive explosion from the sound barrier being ripped reverberating through the land above.

Each planet can be the tale of a life form.

The asteroids crash into the land bellow, causing shards of an unknown crystal to spurt out and begin wreaking bio-radiological damage on the land.

Each life form can be the play-write of a civilization.

The satellite breaks from its cloudy covering and screams towards the ground, before smashing into it, igniting some of the blackened, unknowing crystal, causing a massive explosion of all sorts to erupt from its impact, knocking down buildings and sending debris flying.

Before, almost eerily and unnaturally, a vacuum affect occurs, and begins to suck things up within a small area.

And each civilization has a story worth telling,

Right?

"Goliath, this is Crystal Palace, we are getting reports of unknown hostiles and unknown mutated personnel within the general vicinity of-"

Bzzzt

"-unlike anything we have seen before as hostile... soldiers of some kind-"

Bzzzt

"People are falling rapid to the infection which seems to be instigated bu this unknown mineral see in and around St. Mercy hospital..."

Every civilization earns a tale,

"Ramirez...!" Comes a voice, which seems to be echoing from a far distance. The patter of boots was the thing that filled the senses of a dazed man.

"RAMIREZ!"  It comes again, just more clear, as 'Ramirez' gets up, shouldering a tube-like weapon, and squeezing on a bright red lever, sending a rocket into a crowd of people with blacked crystals sticking out of them.

It's a matter if there'll be somebody who'll retell it.
