"O' death, I yield"

Pvt James Ramirez

1st Battalion United Nations Special Expeditionary Force
Unknown grassland, presumably near Lungmen

2 days, record time.

Those damn spooks knew exactly what they were doing when they were designing these drop pods. The second the big main pods started to break apart, it was easy to reconnect them together in order to form several buildings, as well as some facilities. Ramirez and the rest of H2-1 did great setting up the designing 3d printer block, as well as the facility that is to catch any supplies coming in from space, which is mostly ammunition and basic materials.

The FOB began to take shape of an old American force from long ago, Star shaped fortresses. The communications room was being set up first, the station's antenna being set up quickly as they started to make attempts to communicate with command. Once the cheers from the Command Information Center began to be heard, everybody knew. They had fully established themselves on this habitable planet.

The United Nations congratulated them on making the journey as they began to make more drop pods over and talks with the US Space Force to see if a proper Space Port can be established. Thats some long term thinking that the United Nations wants, so its going to be a while before proper compliance.

Meanwhile, Technicians and Combat engineers began to fortify the base, still feeling the effects on a hostile first contact scenario from "White masks and black hood" faction. From here on out, they are to be referred to as "Hotel Mikes".

Hostile Masks.

Ramirez shook his head at the "creativity" of command. Dunn loves to joke about how the UN or US will always just find a way to make an acronym out of everything. Apart from that, the much more heavy duty cargo craft is delivering several Light Armored Vehicles and regular vehicles. No MBTs yet, or for a while, until the US Space Force can get the right containers and pods for them, or just get a Space Port set up.

There is, however, a wide abundance of scientific drones and military drones brought along, like Helicopter, supply, combat, engineering, and data gathering ones. These things will probably be their best bet at getting going quickly as well as having some basic air support.

No proper aircraft could have been brought along, Ramirez was glad that atleast they have robotized Helicopters. The pilot is still present, all they really do is set the GPS and take manual control in certain environments. Its nice, considering the technology got great enough for helicopter craft to fly themselves with a bunch of new maneuvers that regular human instinct would prevent a pilot from doing.

All of these drones were being set up on an outside wing that looked like a regular airfield.

For the soldiers and the vehicles that they were able to bring along for the first expedition, they quickly used the canister pods to make sort of make shift bunkers and rooms, while one of the big pods flattened out to make a pad for vehicles to rest in. Tents are being set up to help conceal them. Its primitive yes, and they don't know who's here, they just don't want to run the risk of running into more of those goons.

Speaking of them... Medics and the Scientific bots are doing autopsies and checking their bodies, horrified to see that the black crystal is in them. This began to lead to the suspicion that this place might be the origin planet of this black crystal. And in response, a full quarantine site was quickly being set up.

"Hey Ramirez," came a voice from behind the aforementioned ranger, "How's the kid?" Dunn's questioned hit Ramirez like a truck as he quickly rushes over to the medical makeshift structure. Dunn came with him, as the 2 as well as the other 3 members of H2-1 looked at the sleeping girl.
