"...don't surf"

RI Operator Lemuel "Exusiai"
Pvt. James Ramirez
December 14th, Earth time, 2055
October 15th, Local time, 1097

21 minutes since Take-off

Exusiai wakes to the sound of a soft guitar and some sort of Music. She began to look around. All of the vehicles around them seem to be flying in a formation, with the bigger ones in the back and the much smaller ones flying up front. She smells something next to her and, looking down, it was a little tray with some food. Looked like some meat with bread and a drink. There was also an enclosed bit covered in tin foil. Not complaining, and realizing that she hadn't eaten anything since 'take off', she takes the little plastic utensils attached, and began to eat it. The door that allowed them into the vehicle was closed, so all there was was the soft whistling of wind and the engine.

Chewing, Exusiai looks at the others, Texas and Lappland seemed to be asleep, they also had trays but it seem like they ate before her while she was sleeping. However she was treated with the sight of the 2 leaning on each other, causing her to smirk. She takes out her phone to take a quick picture to save. The music seemed to have hit a crescendo, but then quickly calmed as she looks over the 2. Ramirez was sleeping as well.

Except for the camera man, which was recording the entire ride. Ms. Sawyer and Delfina was sleeping although. Exusiai finished the main bits and moved on to the foil. Being greeted with a warm, homey, and near familiar scent.

Apple pie! She happily thought as she opens the foil more rapidly and, sure enough, there was a slice of apple pie. Although it doesn't look like any she was familiar with. Using her form, she gently takes a piece, and placed it in her mouth. A genuine sigh of happiness and content came from her, she turned to the slice of pie with glee. And in the next 4 minutes, she did not care what was happening, as the music softly played about "West Virginia" or whatever. She just decided to listen along and just eat the apple pie that was given to her. Take me home... country roads... she was soon finished with her slice of pie

As she put her tray away, everybody began to wake to the sound of the vehicle letting out alarm bells. As soon as everybody awakes, a heavy Victorian accented voice graced them, "Good morning everybody, we are 5 minutes away from the battle zone. I suggest you all get the grogginess out of your eyes and start readying, this landing is going to be hot and hard." Soon more disgruntled noises began to come from the inside of the craft as the vehicle began to pick up the pace, flying faster.

The turbulence woke everybody back up to full attention. The yells of confusion and terror as the vehicle rocked was music to somebody's ears.

Not sure whose.

Everybody was now fully awake, Ms. Sawyer berating the pilot, "You idiot! Some of us could have got hurt!" The pilot only laughed in amusement as suddenly, the ruins of a destroyed and abandoned, or what it looks abandoned, city came into view. It wasn't on tracks, and it looked very old.

Seemed to come from the old Sedentary days.

There was a tall building up ahead, and Ms. Sawyer's camera man was recording, "Alright, show us how you... park this thing." Exusiai could see the smirk through the reflection of the glass. She should not have done that...

That thought was right, as all 16 Terrans screamed, and Ramirez's unit and himself whooped, as suddenly the vehicle LURCHED upwards, tilted and made a U-turn like maneuver as it then landed, a bit bluntly, on the roof. Jessica felt like losing her food, as Ramirez and Dunn opened the doors.

"Go! Go! Everybody out!" unbuckling their seatbelts, Exusiai dismounted with Texas, Lappland, and Sora, while the others dismounted at their own pace, making sure they have everything. Hearing the aggressive metal noises of Ramirez's rifle, as well as the dismounting Foley screaming orders and 'Potential X-Rays', Exusiai pulled out her Vector, charged it, and kept it ready.
