"Did they notice us?" Cale asked in the same low tone.

"I think not," Adara responded. "Well, if they did then they did not pay more attention than, 'Oh my god, the two Trash of the North-East, let's make sure we don't run into them while we stay here!'," she said, making her voice higher pitched to properly imitate a nervous noble. "Though from what I heard they wouldn't act like that."

"Did their Lord say anything about us?"

She frowned slightly. "He called us benefactors." She ignored the part where he had said he was fond of one of them. "He told the Crazy Priestess to come to the Ruins today because we would be here. He said they would meet their benefactors." She paused. "He also said he cannot predict us."

The corners of Cale's lip turned up. "Now that's some good news. Even a God cannot tell what we will do. We just need to make sure that he will not go about revealing our identities once we give them a new hope."

She made a hum of agreement. But when their conversation ceased, Hans stealthily approached them. "I just saw the Eldest Son of Marquis Stan's Household," he said in a hushed tone.

Adara looked at him, surprised. He smiled sheepishly at how surprised she was. "I assumed that was who the Young Master and Mistress were talking about."

Adara nodded, appreciative. "You assumed correctly."

While Cale was only slightly confused. "How do you know about that person?"

Hans smiled, pointing to his temples. "Pretty much any and all information about the nobles is in my head. I could see a man being pushed in a wheelchair. It was weird that there was only one person with him, but I was able to see that there was a red snake crest on the wheelchair."

"Hans," Cale spoke.

Hans only slightly hesitated. "Yes, sir?"

"You're better than you look."

Hans shrugged his shoulders with a satisfied expression. "Thank you." He looked at where the two had exited. They met the Second Eldest a few days ago, and he had looked down on their Young Master and Mistress. Hans found it annoying when he did that and he couldn't have imagined how much it must have annoyed the two. But he also admired them for keeping their cool and only antagonizing him in a subtle way. He turned back to his Young Master and Mistress. "What do you plan on doing?"

Choi Han was looking at them, and they could feel the kittens looking at them too. But Adara and Cale only shook their heads. "Ignore them."

Both Choi Han and Hans nodded and turned their heads away without saying anything. Only then did the tour officially start. But, once they were there, they were in disbelief.

"They are—," Cale trailed off.

Adara had a grimace on her face. The description of the rock towers that she had used as reference for the small illustration she made in the Ancient Book, made these rock towers to be much prettier than they were in reality. "Uglier than I expected."

There was no sense of style, they did not pick out rocks that were equal in shape. Some of them were round, while the others jagged. One of them was an oval, but then the other was almost square. But it did not work out in ways that the abstract of it normally would. It was like they were stacked to be stable and not to be pretty. I guess they were, she thought, staring at the Ruins a bit closer. They didn't really care if it was pretty or not, they just wanted it to be a symbol of their determination. She smiled. With this new perspective, they were much more interesting. Not any prettier, but more interesting.
