*Three months later*
LUNA

Time is flying.
It's already been three months since I've found Star and her vampire brothers.

Three months of keeping her a secret from my parents.
Every passing day it gets harder and harder to keep it in.

I want to tell them about her, that she's alive and well, but it'll only lead to trouble on her part.
I risk losing her entirely by telling them the truth...

So I need to keep my mouth shut.
But, speaking of Star...

She's been awfully quiet lately.
We haven't hung out too much. And Star hasn't shown any sign of wanting to hang out with me.

I wonder why...
Michael hasn't talked much to me either, they all have pretty much ghosted me.
What did I do for that to happen?

Nah, it's probably not about me.
Michael and Star are probably getting more involved, relationship wise.
I'd be happy if that's the case.

Star should have someone, beside me.
Someone to make her happy on a different level.
I just hope a certain man called David doesn't find out.

I lay sprawled out on my bed, my hair covering my face and my snores loud enough for my parents to hear.
Suddenly, a tap against glass makes me snap my head up in an half-asleep daze, glancing around, searching for the ruckus.

"Huh?! Wha-"

I hear more tapping. And unless I get out of my bed, it'll keep annoying me.

I groan, dragging myself out of my bed and going towards my window.
What the hell is making this noise?

I open my window, only to be face to face with someone who I totally was NOT expecting.

My eyes widen. "Marko?"
He smiles, but it's faint.

I step aside for him to come in, and he climbs through the window, straightening his patch jacket as he exhales.
He never comes to visit me. Is there something going on?

"Is everything alright?" I ask, worry seizing my chest.
"Is Star-"

"Everything is fine," he replies, hands in his pockets.
Relief floods my chest.
He had me worried there for a moment, but still, my other question remains unanswered.

"Why are you here?"

Marko gently kicks my carpet with his toes. "I wanted to show you something."
I furrow my brow.

Show me something?
He turns and goes back to the window, allowing one leg to dangle outside of it.
"What is it?" I ask curiously.

He smirks at me. "A part of my world."
And then he jumps.

I gasp, running to the window and looking down.
I expect to see him smashed on the ground, but instead, he's floating on his back, hands behind his head with his legs crossed over one other and a daring smile on his face.

It shouldn't surprise me, knowing that he's a vampire.
Still, my jaw drops to the floor seeing it with my own eyes.

He laughs a little, floating up to me and extending his hand towards me.
"Take my hand."
I immediately shake my head.
"No, I-" I swallow a gulp of saliva, "I can't. I should-"
