Lillian stood up.

"Dhañalí! Will you examine me?" She asked.

"I already did that when we were at the federal bunker.

No one here is infertile or genealogically locked.

Well, except for the humans, but, that won't matter."

Just then, a thunderous boom came from outside.

I immediately ran out to investigate, having teleported Sophia back home.

"ACCURSED WRETCHES!" I heard.

Looking up, I saw a crack in mid air.

"HOW DARE YOU ESCAPE MY WORLD!?

IT'S PERFECT! FAR SUPERIOR TO THIS FESTERING BACKWATER WORLD!"

"If it's so perfect, then why were there gates being opened!?" I shouted.

"Hmm?" The being looked at me.

"You're a human denizen of this world, yet you have much more power than any being in mine.

On top of that, you're marked as Faltiron's heir?

What is your name?" She demanded.

"Clark Robinson." I said.

"Oh ho! The hero Robinson!

Tell me, Clark.

How are you enjoying your life in this world?"

"I hated it until I met my wife."

"Dammit!

You were destined to live in misery here!

I sealed away your magic and yet it's stronger than ever before! Who is your wife?" She ordered.

"None of your business, you slut of a wannabe god!" I mocked.

Sylvia was peeking through the window curtains.

The goddess went berserk.

The crack broke open and she stepped through.

"You wanna say that again!?" She growls.

I was suddenly feeling an extreme amount of power flowing throughout my body and put my wrists together in front of me.

"Mâkâ qí lé tüó!" I shouted and a beam of light, as bright as a welding arc, pierced the goddess through her head.

"Târré má lé tüâ lé!"

The beam widened and consumed her whole being, erasing her existence entirely.

The others came outside after Sylvia tackled me to the ground.

"You just... killed our god." Lillian said, nearly in tears.

"I'm sorry but, she was about to attack our world." I explained.

"That's not what I meant." She said as she smiled.

"You set our world free!

They'll never have to worry about her causing any more wars, famines, plagues or droughts." Holly cried and Molly nodded as she wept.

Roger Meinfelt stepped up.

"I heard that goddess say something about you being a hero. What's that mean?" He asked, looking nervous.

"I'm not really sure." I said. Truth be told, I was honestly worried about what it might mean, myself until Dhañalí went and dropped a bombshell on me.

"The original reason for us coming here was to find the Great Hero Robinson.

He was a legendary sorcerer from ten years before all humankind was wiped out.

You were meant to save them but, we had hoped to have you deal with our rogue goddess.

I'm sorry Clark."

"Sylviamph!" She kissed me, gently holding my head and neck.

She let go and looked in my eyes.

"I had no knowledge of that.

Everything we have, together, is what we made from scratch.

If you really are this great hero, then time must move phenomenally slower in this world than ours.

All I care to know is that we are husband and wife.

Nothing else matters to me.

If you find a way to go to our world, I'm going too." She said, smiling.

"To hell with that. I'm not leaving this world.

I grew up here. All of my memories are from this world. My family, my childhood. All of it.

My childhood may have been terrible to most, but my parents loved me.

I lost them when I was very young. I think I was about 5 years old.

Still, though. My life could have been worse.

I could have been like those who never even had a chance to know their parents' faces.

I remember them from before they died.

I inherited everything that they owned."

"You say that like it might be a lot." Sylvia said, laughing a bit nervously.

"That's because it is a lot." I said casually.

"Then why do you choose to live in the middle of a forest?" Holly asked.

"I didn't want to be corrupted by wealth. I also don't like cities."

"Do you even have access to any of it?" Molly asked.

"Of course I do but, so far, I haven't needed any of it. I still have my savings that I'd been setting aside from my last job.

I still have more than 90% of my savings left."

We'd gone back inside and, when the federal police arrived, we didn't know.

They knocked on the door and Matthew answered.

"Oi. How can I be helpin' ye?" He asked.

"We need to speak to Clark Robinson." The officer said.

"Then yer at the wrong house. He be in Idaho."

"We know where he lives. Reports say he's here."

I'd teleported home with Sylvia and the others.

I then teleported them back to the courthouse before going home.
