On this question Jimin jerked his head in her direction and had a confused and
amused look plastered on his face.

"that's a long story" he said.

"I'm all ears" she said excitedly which made him chuckle.

"okay okay"

"it all started when I was 13... my mother borrowed money for my studies...
from a gang which was at that time, a big deal, also we had to return it after 1
year, she didn't know we wont be able to pay it back.... and what was waiting
ahead of us.. After one year they demanded their money back, but she couldn't
pay it, so they gave us an offer... they said they would train me to fight... so they would profit from me and that if she accepted the offer, they won't harm us or
else they would kill us, she accepted the offer and they started to train me, till a
year or so.. I used to fight in some small competitions, and they made good
profit from me than they expected... because of that, they offered my mom to
train me professionally, but she denied because it would affect my studies as
professional training was a full-time practice... But they insisted to do so and also offered her that if she let me get trained professionally, they would forgive the
money we had borrowed, but my mom didn't want me to become a
professional fighter because she wanted me to study and become a good
person, which happened but she is no more present to see it..." jimin stopped
talking and laid back looking towards the sky, stars were shining on their full
potential, in which jimin's eyes glowed as well as his tears, which started to
gather in his eyes by the thought of his mom.

Ha yeon saw that and left her seat and went towards him and sat beside him on the chair, in addition she slid her hand on his shoulders and rubbed it, to calm
him. He eventually leaned on her chest and tears made their way on his cheeks.
She tightened her grip on his shoulder and caressed his hair slowly.

After some moments, he took a deep breath and wiped his tears, he sat straight and smiled at her

"no one was ever by my side all these years... I was alone after my mom passed
away... My heart clings to you, please promise you'll never abandon me in
solitude" he said, his eyes filled with hope and tears of sadness.

"i would never leave you" she said and smiled at him, he took a sigh of relief.

"what happened next?" she asked.

"you want to know everything as soon as possible huh?" he smirked, his playful self, back.

"i want to know what happened next, did they convince her to take you? Or... or did your mom not send you??... what happened?????" she asked in a go, jimin
grinned seeing her all hyped up.

"i'll tell you later" he said teasing her.

"no... please tell me.." she made a pouty face with sad eyes.

"she denied"

"oh what happened next" with that sentence she got comfortable in the chair
with jimin and rested her head on his chest while he told more of the story.

"she denied sending me because my studies would get disrupted and I also
didn't want to fight people for money, but they offered that I could get study
breaks and meet my friends and family but my mom didn't want me to get into
the mafia world... As she feared my death, but one day when I came home from school, I wasn't able to find my mom... I searched for her everywhere but
couldn't find her... I sat in my home crying when a neighbor came into the house and told me some men took her and told the neighbor the address and said that I am willing to train professionally then I should visit them there... I did as I was
told... as I couldn't lose her... I went there and they told me that if I don't fight
professionally, they would kill my mom and if I fight professionally... they would
hold her hostage until our contract of fight ends and then they would free us, so I signed it on the terms that they would free us once the contract ends... but
they didn't.. And they kept her hostage... which angered me... one dark night, I
stole the gate keys from the guards and When I saw the guards going to have
their dinner, I, along with my mom, tried to escape, and we ran as fast as we
could , it was a small dorm which we were kept in and it was surrounded by the
forest, so it was easy to escape, we ran as fast as we could but I was so fast I
didn't realize that mom was left behind because she tripped on something I was very far away when I turned back and saw her hair grabbed my those guards
which guarded us... they were looking at me and screamed to come back but
my mom screamed at me to run... which resulted in her head being crushed by
them... to save my life she lost hers... I screamed and cried but kept running as I
couldn't let my mom's death be ruined."

With that he started sobbing, When she looked at him and gently wiped away his tears, he felt a profound mix of emotions washing over him. A sense of vulnerability and relief intertwined as her caring gaze met his. It was as if a heavy burden had been momentarily lifted from his heart, and the world seemed to stand still in that tender moment.

Her touch, gentle and reassuring, conveyed not only empathy but also a deep connection. The warmth in her eyes offered comfort, understanding, and the promise that he was not alone in his struggles. It was a silent yet powerful affirmation that, in that very instant, he was cherished and supported.

In that precious moment, his heart brimmed with gratitude, trust, and an overwhelming affection for her. He felt a profound connection, a sense that someone truly cared, and it brought solace to his soul. It was a moment of profound intimacy and the assurance that, even in the most challenging times, he could find solace in the empathy and compassion of another.
