Carrying her night clothes, Adhira stepped into the bathroom. As her eyes darted to the bathroom rack, she noticed a new packet of sanitary napkins, exactly the same size as the ones she uses.

Her mind went directly to her husband, mentally thanking him for buying it because she had completely forgotten, and she would have run out of it if he hadn't bought it.

Slipping into her comfortable nightwear, she entered the dimly lit bedroom, to find her husband nestled amidst the plush pillows, scrolling down through his phone.

Approaching the bed, her eyes were drawn to the sight of chocolates and candies, that were spread over her side of the bed.

A warm smile graced her lips as her gaze transitioned from the bed to the man who was behind this gesture.

A gesture that touched her heart without single word needing to be spoken.

Collecting all the items, she placed them on the bedside table before settling down on the bed, gaining his attention.

"Thank you." She expressed, her fingers consciously toying with the ring on her index finger.

"Tell me if you need anything else." Vikram said, turning off his phone and placing it aside.

Vikram watched Adhira, as she nodded her head,  her eyes drifting over each item in the room, lingering everywhere except on him.

"Why are you so awkward about it?" He reached for her hand, as he intertwined their fingers and drew her closer to him.

Adhira shifted closer, the warmth of his hand grounding her as she wrestled with her thoughts.

"Tell me, what it is?" He asked, his thumb tracing soothing circles on the back of her hand as they rested together on her thigh.

"I-It's just I have never shared or discuss about this with any man before." Adhira confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.

"It's all new to me." Her eyes met his, searching for understanding in the depths of his gaze.

"Not even with Advait?" Vikram's voice was gentle, his grip firm yet comforting on her hand.

Adhira shook her head, lowering her gaze to their intertwined hands. She couldn't help but be transported back to the moments with her grandmother, the echoes of her words resonating in her mind.

"When I was younger, my grandmother had asked me not to share or talk about this with the men in our family." She confessed with a soft sigh before continuing. "She believed that these things were meant to be held between women only."

Vikram gazed at her, amazed by how deeply it had shaped her perception. Despite the passing years, she still carried her grand mother's words etched in her mind.

"But Advait bhai always seemed to know as we grew up. He'd never let me do any work, insisting on doing it himself, making me juices, or asking if I wanted to eat from outside, especially my favorite junk food."
A small smile tugged at the corners of Adhira's lips.

Adhira glanced up at Vikram, the proximity between them sending a rush of emotions through her. Was it her hormones, messing up with her, or he was just too handsome to resist?
