Kendall's POV

"It's for you." Austin said as he handed me my phone.

"Hey, Kiara?" I asked and then heard soft crying on the other line.

"Kendall, it's me, mom." I dropped the phone my eyes wide.

"What?" Austin asked as he stared at me.

"Kendall? KENDALL!" my mom yelled through the phone as she cried. "Kendall, answer me baby." she begged.

"Mom." I said and started sobbing as she cried on the other line of the phone.

"Kendall, I'm sorry I left you." she cried.

"Mom, you left me and Kiara." I said my voice cracking.

"I know, I'm sorry." she sobbed.

"So am I." I said tears flowing down my face as I ended the call.

"Is she okay?" one of the boys asked.

"I don't know, she's crying." another one said.

"You okay?" Alex asked as he rubbed circles into my back. I shook my head.

"I'm gonna take a nap." I said my voice cracking slightly as I walked down to my room getting into the bed. My head hit the pillow and I was out.

I never thought that I would actually be friends with my kidnappers.

Kiara's POV

I walked back into the house and closed the door behind me.

"Kale?" I called up the steps.

"Did you get Kendall?" he asked as he walked down the steps.

"No, she's been kidnapped and they want $20,250 to get her back. Why would they want that exact amount." I said and Kale's eyes went wide as he looked at me.

"Austin and his crew." Kale whispered as he looked at me.

"What do you know about this?" I asked Kale as he put his head in his hands.

"I bought some drugs from them and kept forgetting to pay them back. It shouldn't have gotten this far. I should have payed them." He said as tears trickled down his cheek.

"KALE YOU IDIOT!!" I roared as I smacked his arm. "WHY WOULD YOU DO DRUGS?!?!"

"I got addicted, Kiara, you don't understand." Kale growled.

"Don't become addicted in the first place, and don't be so stupid." I growled and turned around towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Kale asked me gently.

"I'm going to go and find a job and I'll stay with mom." I hissed and opened the door slamming it behind me.

I started to walk towards the only alley that was creepy that I knew of. It was near the park but a few minutes away. I walked down the street and pushed past a few people.

"Watch it!" somebody growled at me. I lifted my middle finger at them. I was NOT in the mood for people. I walked into the alley and looked around for any sign of Kendall.

"Can I help you?" I spun around to see a boy who looked to be maybe Kendall's age or a little older.

"Just, uh, taking a walk." I said and he smiled slightly as he started to walk towards me.

"I'm Robert." he said and he stuck his hand out. I shook it cautiously. "Do I know you?" he then asked.

"Uh, no." I said and raised my brows at him as I crossed my arms over my chest.
