20 YEARS LATER

Kendall's POV

"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Get up! Daddy made pancakes!" I opened my eyes staring into the bright green eyes of my daughter, Sarah. Her light brown hair was pulled back and braided going down to the top of her light pink onesie pajamas.

"Sarah, let Mommy get up!" I heard Austin yell from the kitchen making Sarah groan as she sat down on my legs.

"MOMMY I WANT TO HUG YOU TOO!" I smiled as my other daughter ran into my room. Her brown hair was also pulled back into a braid and she had some chocolate smeared on the corner of her mouth as well as a small bit by her brown eyes.

"Miranda, come on up here." I smiled as she jumped up onto the bed throwing her arms around me.

"I love you, Mommy." Miranda smiled closing her eyes as I stared down at her and then looked at Sarah who was still sitting on my legs.

"I love you too." I smiled placing a kiss on her head letting out a peaceful sigh.

"Mommy, can I come in too?" I looked over to see my son, Christian holding a blanket between his hands.

"Yeah, Mommy, can we?" I smiled as Christian's twin sister, Willow, walked over next to him. Chistian's light brown hair was spiked up slightly from sleep and Willow's blonde hair was in two small pigtails and both of their brown eyes looked tired from just waking up.

"Get in." I motioned for them to come and they both ran over cuddling up into my sides as Sarah crawled up my legs hugging me.

"Can I join?" Austin smirked from the door his eyes never leaving mine.

"Of course." I smiled and Austin joined me wrapping his arms around Christian and Willow hugging them and me.

We all laid in silence making me close my eyes at the peacefulness in the house. There was a knock on the door making all of my kids jump up.

"GRANDPA!" They all screamed at once and ran out of my room making me groan as Austin laughed.

"Time to go, sweetie." He kissed my nose and got up. I got out of the bed and wrapped a robe around me as I walked out of the room. I smiled as I watched Cam being swarmed by all of the kids trying to pay attention to all of them.

"Good morning, Cam." He looked up a relieved smile on his face as he saw me.

"Morning, Kendall." He sighed and I hugged him his arms wrapping around me tightly.

"Thought you would be a better old man than this." I teased him making him chuckle a small smirk on his face as he pulled away.

"I think I am pretty good for a man in his 40s." He said making me laugh as Austin coughed into his hand awkwardly.

"Christian and Willow, come with Daddy and help me get the table set for Grandpa, Nonna, Aunt Katie, Uncle Hayes, Grace, and Peter." Austin said and they both ran over to him grabbing his hand as they walked off to the kitchen.

"How old are they now? Like 6?" Cam asked as Miranda and Sarah ran to the playroom.

"No, they are two, Cam. Sarah is six and Miranda is 4." I said sitting down on the couch in the living room as Cam sat down next to me.

"Wow, time really does fly. I remember when Sarah was born, it feels like just yesterday or when I adopted you, that really feels like yesterday." He said and I smiled looking over at him.

"It does." I smiled and we just stared at each other smiling.

I always wonder what my life would be like if Cam never adopted me.
