I stared at the white ceiling the annoying sound of my fan buzzing in the back of my head.

"Aren't your girls hungry?" I looked at the door to see Sandra, one of the ladies who takes care of the older girls. She had dark brown hair, almost black, and dark green eyes but was one of the sweetest girls here. She was in her thirties but acted like she was a teenager.

"Yeah, but thanks Sandra." Kendall said and I looked over at her. She was laying on the small bed next to mine her eyes never leaving the ceiling.

"Open adoption day starts in 30 minutes." She informed us and I just laughed.

"People don't want a suicidal girl." I said making Kendall laugh.

"Or a depressed girl." She said and Sandra just sighed in defeat and closed the door to our room walking out.

"Hey, Kendall, do you think that maybe Austin would adopt us?" I asked and Kendall just laughed.

"That's funny, Katie." She laughed and I smirked an idea coming to mind.

"Then you could really call him daddy." I looked over at Kendall who sat up her eyes wide.

"Katie!" She exclaimed and I quickly dodged the pillow she threw at my head.

"Okay, okay!" I laughed and laid on my side staring at Kendall. "What if we don't get adopted together?"

"That won't happen because I won't let it." Kendall said and she quickly jumped onto my bed wrapping her arms around me.

"I love you, Kendall." I said hugging her back.

"I refuse to lose you again." She muttered and we just laid with each other her holding me.

Would Jack adopt me?

He doesn't know me that well but would he do it for Matt?

What about Sam?

He says he hates me but would he adopt me?

"Katie, Kendall get up the open adoption is starting." I quickly jumped up grabbing Kendall's hand a wide smile on my face.

"Thanks, Sandra." I said and she smiled and walked away as I pulled Kendall out of the room. I dragged her down the steps behind me my eyes wide as I searched around the room looking for somebody we knew.

My smile fell and I dropped Kendall's hand realizing that none of the boys had come to adopt us.

"Katie, I told you they wouldn't come. I'm sorry." Kendall wrapped me up in a hug as I closed my eyes trying not to cry.

Why didn't any of the boys come?

"Katie, Kendall, my office please." Sandra said motioning for us to come towards her. I looked up at Kendall who nodded and grabbed my hand walking with me into Sandra's office.

I looked around her office confused because there was nobody in here except for us now.

"They should be in here shortly." She smiled and motioned for us to sit down.

"Who?" Kendall asked as we sat down in front of Sandra's desk the door to our backs.

"Well, would you two mind having different sets of parents? I have somebody wanting to adopt Katie and another person wanting to adopt Kendall." She said and Kendall shook her head.

"No, I don't want to be adopted then." She crossed her arms and leaned back in the chair as I closed my eyes shaking my head.

"See, she doesn't want to be adopted, let's go." I whipped my head around my eyes lighting up as I stared at Sam and Cam. Sam was being held by Cam because he was quickly trying to exit the office.
