I walked up to my room my hands shaking as I opened the door. I was scared that Austin would be sitting on my bed. I opened the door and closed it quickly turning the light on. I scanned the room and saw nobody and I let out a sigh of relief. I slipped out of my clothes and put my pajamas on before pulling my sheets back as I went to get into bed.

"Don't even bother." I jumped at the voice and turned to see Austin smirking between me.

I tried to scream but somebody grabbed my from behind pinning me to the wall. A cold metal was pressed to me side and then I looked to see Austin smirking with another gun in his hand. I looked up and saw that it was Alex who had me pinned to the wall.

"See, I wanted to just kill you but then I thought wouldn't it be better to watch you suffer to death." Austin smirked and I growled at him.

The gun dug into my side as Alex pressed harder. I winced and tried to hold my tears from flowing down my face.

"Jump out the window and take her in the car. I'll jump after you." Austin ordered and Alex nodded before he pulled a long rope out of his pocket.

He tied my hands together tightly and I went to scream but then Austin grabbed my jaw and pulled my head towards him.

"Scream and you die now." he threatened and then shoved my head away from him.

Alex pulled two cloths out of his pocket. He tied one over my mouth and the other over my eyes as he lifted me up bridal style. I started to silently sob as I felt the wind from jumping out of the window. Alex walked and I hear him breathe with each step he took. His jacket smelt like smoke and I was forced to inhale the terrible smell since I was being held.

"Katie, stop crying." Alex ordered and I instantly stopped crying as my tears knew that I would die if I cried one more tear.

Alex continued to carry me and walk as I heard Austin jogging up behind us.

"Run." he ordered and then I heard tires squealing and Alex swearing as they both stopped.

I felt the cold metal press into my head again and I gasped trying to peak through the blindfold.

"One more step and I'll kill her." Austin growled and the gun pressed harder.

"Let her go." I heard Kendall sob and then Austin's grip on the gun loosened slightly.

"Don't come any closer." Austin growled and his voice sounded weaker.

I tried to scream through the gag and tried running into the direction of Kendall's voice. I ended up hiting somebody.

Or something.

I hit a garbage can.

And I fell over cutting my head open.

I moaned and heard Austin and Alex's snickers as I tried to get up with my hands tied behind me.

"HEY! Don't move, I can still shoot her." I heard Austin growl and then sobs were heard and I knew it was Kendall.

I mean, she likes Austin and I know that. Yet he keeps threatening to kill her little sister, me, so I would cry to.

I was pulled up and I smelt Austin's familiar smell of his Axe and the faint smell of cigarettes.

"Please don't hurt her." I heard Kale's voice and the pain in my head went away.

"Why not?" Alex growled.

"She's already bleeding down her head." Kale begged and I felt the blindfold come off of my eyes. Austin stared at me intently and I watched as red drops fell off of my eyelashes and rolled down my cheek.

I turned and saw that Kendall was waiting for me to try and run now. I pulled away from Austin and ran to Kendall. A gun shot was heard and I fell to the ground before blacking out.

All I could see was darkness and screams, loud screams. I'm not sure if they were my own or Kendall's. I heard sirens and crying as the screams continued to be heard. Then I heard somebody bend down to my ear.

"I'm sorry." I heard softly before footsteps were heard signalling that the person had run away, probably Alex and Austin.

I then heard the screams stop and I passed out.

Kendall's POV

I watched as Katie laid on the ground blood pouring out of her leg. I watched as Alex and Austin ran leaving Katie to die on the ground. I quickly put my hands over Katie's leg trying to stop the blood. I let out an earsplitting scream hoping that somebody would hear and call the police. Kale sat next to Katie making sure she had a heartbeat. I watched as an ambulance and four police cars drove over the curb and surrounded us as the paramedics ran over to Katie.

"KATIE!" I cried and I was pried off of Katie as blood dripped from my hands and I tried to push the officer away from me. I got blood on his jacket and he just tried to keep me in his arms tightly.

I continued to scream as loud as I could and then I just stopped and cried as hard as I could and I blanked out only seeing red.

Katie's POV

I opened my eyes and blinked adjusting to the darkness in the room. I realized that I was in a hospital room and it was night time because the moon was shining high in the sky. I felt a pain in my leg and my head hurt as well. I looked out the window from where I was laying on the bed and let out a sigh. I started to remember everything that happened last night and I only remembered Austin and Alex trying to kidnap me again. I shuddered at the memory and looked over at the door. I watched as it opened slightly and closed quickly as a shadow walked over to me.

"Katie, are you awake?" my eyes widened as I heard his voice.

"W-Why a-are y-you he-he-here?" I whimpered and I felt the bed sink slightly as he sat down next to me on the bed.

"I have been coming here for the past four days that you have been passed out." he said and I felt his hand travel over the bandage on my leg. I winced when he kept his hand over the hole where the bullet that he shot was in my leg.

"Why?" I asked again.

"Because once you wake up I will be the first one to take you home. I want my money, Katie, and if that means using you at your weakest point then I will do it." Austin hissed at me and I could feel tears running down my face as he still kept his hand on my leg.

"Are you going to hurt me?" I asked in a whisper as I looked up at Austin.

"Not if we don't have to." he said and grabbed my arms wrapping them around his neck. He continued to do a makeshift hug to me seeing that I was sitting and he was standing and he was tall.

"I don't want to go home with you." I protested and Austin just sighed lifting me up as he held me in his arms.

"Other people want you too, Katie. You are lucking it's me and my gang instead of the other gang." Austin said as if I should be so happy to see him. "The other gang is a bunch of messed up boys that will hurt you."

"Like you didn't hurt me." I scoffed at him.

"They will hurt you, mentally and physically. And I heard that they'll do things to you." Austin hissed at me.

"I'd rather be with them though. I bet they are nice." I hissed and I turned my head away from Austin as he opened the door and glared down at me.

"Then I'll drop you off at their door." Austin growled at me. My eyes widened immediately. I didn't think that Austin would give up so easily.

"N-No, n-no. I-I'll stay with y-y-you." I stuttered and Austin smirked at me.

"That's what I thought." he said and carried me out to his car where he laid me across the back. I stared at the roof of the car thinking about nothing really.

"Austin?" I asked and he turned around to look at me.

"What." he said.

"Who shot me?" I asked and Austin looked guiltily at his feet.

"Alex didn't know what to do and his finger slipped. He feels really bad. That's why he didn't come." Austin said. I was honestly disappointed in Alex.

"Oh." I said. "One more thing."

"What, Katie." Austin sighed.

"I'm bleeding on your seat. The bandage came off." I said and I stared at the blood that was coming out of my stitches.

"Okay, I'll be back there soon. We just have to leave the hospital." Austin said and he turned around to drive back to his house.

"Austin, it really hurts." I whined as the pain started to kick in.

"It's gonna be okay." Austin soothed gently and i knew he was feeling guilty about shooting me in the leg because he is never this nice.

"Austin! Hurry up!" I cried in pain as I clutched onto my shirt tightly.

"I'm going as fast as I can." Austin said and he reached his hand behind him. "You can, uh, hold my hand." he muttered and I shakily grabbed his hand tightly as my leg started to hurt.

I started to cry silently as the blood ran down my leg causing me to be in so much pain.

"Don't cry." Austin said gently and he pulled into the driveway for his house. "We're home, and we can put some bandage on your leg."

"Don't leave me." I begged as he opened my door and lifted me up. I clutched onto Austin's shirt scared that the other gang would find me and take me with them.

"It's okay." Austin soothed as he opened the door and walked into the house. Robert looked up from the table and he stared at me confused as I cried and clutched onto Austin's shirt.

"Austin, is that you?" I looked up and watched as Zach walked into the room and looked at us confused.

"Yeah, I'm home." Austin said and smirked at Zach who rolled his eyes.

"Whatever." he muttered and Austin chuckled as his chest vibrated and i felt him laughing. I let out a low whimper and Austin seemed to remember my leg was bleeding.

"Do we have any bandage wrap?" Austin asked and shifted me in his arms as I still clutched onto him.

"Yeah, I'll get it." Zach said and he ran off to get some.

"Austin, it hurts." I said as tears started to flow down my cheeks.

"Okay, I found a roll." Zach said as he walked in with a roll of bandage wrap.

Austin sat down in one of the chairs and sat me on his lap as he wrapped his arm around my waist to hold me. I held my foot out as Austin wrapped the bandage around my stitched that were open. He tried to wrap it loosely but still tight.

"Does it still hurt?" Austin asked and I nodded as he ran his finger down the bandage. "Well, let's go put you in bed." He lifted me up, seeing as I can't put pressure on my leg, and carried me up the steps. We reached the room I stayed in before and he tried to set me down but I refused to let go of him.

"Don't leave me alone." I begged and Austin sighed looking at me.

"Are you sure you want to sleep with me? In my room?" he asked and I nodded.

"I trust you." I said.

"Katie, I'm a criminal." he tried to reason with me.

"I. Trust. You." I said again and he sighed as he walked back down the steps to his room. He opened the door and laid me down on the bed as he walked over to his bathroom.

"I sleep without a shirt." he said and looked at me.

"I said I trust you." I said and pulled the blankets over me.

I watched as Austin took his shirt off and walked back over to me. He pulled the blankets back and laid down next to me. He pulled the blankets back over us and rolled onto his side holding me in his arms.

"Goodnight, Katie." he said into my hair and I smiled.

"Night, Austin." I muttered before I fell asleep instantly.

Why is Austin being so nice?

I bet he feels guilty.

Because he likes Kendall still.
