Dear Kurt,

Happy birthday.
Though you are technically 49,
you'll always remain 27 to me.
You mean the world to me.
Thanks for everything.
Though you may not know it,
you've had an amazing impact on me.
On all of us.
I can't believe you left us.
I won't scold you because I know how it feels
to be suicidal.
But I wish you had someone to talk to,
someone that could be helped you.
I hope you are at least happier now
wherever you are.
