Today someone called me a girl. I guess it was because they actually thought I was a girl.

Haha.

Nope, I'm actually guy. So anyone who thought I was a girl, well. . . . . .

Nope. 100% heterosexual (straight) Male writer.

So, now that that's all cleared up,

Deimos' POV

It happened in an instant, a single moment. It was as if a switch was suddenly turned on, after being off for a long time. It wasn't much of a surprise to me, when it happened. It was just a matter of when.

She looked like she was on top of the world, and her personality looked like reaching a point of almost normalcy. Then it all came crashing down. During the journey she suddenly slowed, then began glancing around nervously. Her heart began to pound against her chest violently and I literally felt the fear that was seeping out of her body.

"Elliot?" I called out to her and she immediately flinched. "What's wrong?", I tried to ask her, but instead of answering, her breathing rate increased and became shallower, causing her breaths to come out as pants. Her eyes were wide as they stared at me, as if she had seen a ghost. "Ellio-" My breath hitched in my throat as she suddenly collapsed, her lack of proper breathing suddenly making her lose consciousness. I quickly caught her before she fell, holding her close to my chest.

She was out cold, and fear still lingered on her body. I held her with one arm whilst searching through my bag with the other. I found the blanket and quickly laid in on the ground near the base of a tree. I gently took off Elliot's bag and placed her onto the blanket. After placing both of our bags next to her, I leaned against the tree next to her and simply stared at her.

She had slowed me down yet again.

"She had an attack," Although it was a question, it came out more like a statement. 'It appears so', Erebus replied, his presence coming forward in my mind. Once I saw Marley's memories, I learned about her Elliot's condition. "What do you think triggered it this time?" I asked. He was silent for a while before answering. 'Judging from Marley's memories, Our Mate has been living in the cold zones with Blaez's group for a long time. Seeing these woods might of brought back some old memories of her past. . .' he trailed off. I nodded at what he said. Someone with her size and build couldn't have possibly lived out in the cold zones for so long, but seeing what Elliot was, it wasn't that impossible. "But why now?" It's been almost a day and half since we've started travelling. Why get your attack now? 'I think that it's the excitement of everything that had happened when you had arrived. It had distracted her mind from her memories. Now that she was back to her original self, her condition finally came back to her', he sighed. 'Our Mate-'

"Stop calling her that."

'Why?' I heard the confusion in his tone. "We don't know if she's really our Mate", I explained. I heard the low growl of my wolf but I chose to ignore it. I was around long enough to know that you don't believe everything and everyone immediately. That sort of person dies immediately in this kind of world. 'You feel the pull don't you? The bond, you sense its existence. Don't you?' he suddenly questioned. With a slight shrug, I answered. "I feel nothing actually." It wasn't a lie. But it wasn't totally true. I didn't exactly feel anything for the Omega, But the signs of the bond's existence was still there. It was a truly annoying situation I was in, more annoying than not being able to look into the Omega's mind. I sighed.
