Marley's POV

"OH YES GRAY! MY GOODNESS! YESS!! THAT'S IT! THAT'S THE SPOT! OH SWEET BISCUITS THAT'S THE SPOT!"

"OOOHHH YESS! KEEP DOING THAT GRAY! RIGHT THERE! OH MY GOSH! RIGHT THERE!"

"YES GRAY GO HARDER! DEEPER GRAY, DEEPER!"

"I THINK IM GOING NUMB. . . I'M. . . I'M. . ."

"I'MMMM-"

"Dammit Marley! Could you stop that! You're going to make everyone think that we're doing something. . . sexual in here!"

Ah, there goes my fun.

I huffed playfully and then pouted at Gray when he stopped massaging my shoulders.

Dammit, and it was just getting good.

"Oh come on Gray! Who in their right minds would think something like that?" I smirked at him, but he just glared at me. "How about. . . hmm I don't know, everyone?" he replied and I stuck my tongue out at him. "Fine killjoy", I folded my arms across my chest. I heard him sigh before leaning away from me. "Please stop calling me that."

"What?"

"Killjoy. Stop calling me Killjoy."

With another smirk, I stood up from between his legs, spun around, and pointed at him.

"Killjoy, Killjoy, Killoy. . . Kill. . .Joy."

He growled frustratingly at me, then sighed before composing himself. "Do you think we should start walking again? It's getting pretty late. The snowfall is getting a little lighter now", He shrugged as he tried to stare through the dull grey tent we we're now in.

A few days after Elliot and her Mate left, we had departed from the Moonshine Territory and began our journey, or escape, to Spring Haven. We were all now in a clearing in the middle of the woods, sheltering from the harsh snow that fell from above.

Upon hearing Gray's words, I collapsed into Gray's chest, my whines muffled into his chest.

"No, no, no! I don't wanna! I'm so tired!" I looked up and pouted at him. His deep green eyes searched my own, before he sighed, wrapping one hand around me. "Marley, we're practically being chased, remember?"

"But we've been walking and running non-stop ever since we left Moonshine! Let's just stay here for one day. Pleeaassee?" I whined. He did seem to be considering my words, but he still looked steadfast in his resolve.

Hmm, my whining wasn't going to cut it. I had to pull out the big guns.

I gently placed my hands on his chest, widened my eyes, stuck out my bottom lip, and presented him with the greatest pouty face in the world.

"Pwwweeaassee?"

His eyes twitched slightly, and his heart began to beat erractically under my hands. He closed his eyes for a few seconds before opened them again, a slightly stern expression making its way onto his face.

"Do you really think that I'm that gullible?"

I spun around in defeat and sulked against his chest. "Killjoy", I muttered angrily under my breath. I tried to stand up when I was suddenly pulled back down onto Gray's lap, my back facing his chest. I snapped my eyes up to him and bared my teeth at him slightly, all of which didn't seem to bother him at all. He simply wrapped his arm my chest and pulled me against him. His green eyes never gave away his intentions, nor did the thin line that was once his mouth. "I thought that we had to 'continue moving'. So why are you holding me?" I asked curiously.
