"I can't believe you're actually doing this. This is crazy." Jason laughed, helping Zane carry the table outside.

"What can I say? I'm a romantic piece of shit."  David shrugged, chuckling to himself.

"I think it's sweet!" Trisha piped up, sitting on one of his lawn chairs.

"I do too, Davey." Zane said mockingly, making David roll his eyes.

"You have to make this one good. She's really great." Jason smiled, patting David's back.

"I know she is."

Sophia knocked on David's door, crossing her arms nervously. He had left her place kinda abruptly and she was worried something was wrong. Should she not have said anything about all the comments? Was it too soon to be that honest with him? She couldn't help but feel comfortable around him, so she never kept things from him. She was a pretty open person to begin with, as was he. Natalie opened the door, smiling widely as she greeted her. The house was completely dark, making Sophia raise an eyebrow.

Suddenly, she saw some light outside and made her way to his backyard. She gasped when she saw what he had planned for her. David had a table decorated with her favorite flowers and dinner, standing at the edge of his glass fencing and looking out to the city. He turned when he heard her, smiling as he met her gaze. She walked up to him, barley able to contain her happiness when she saw him carrying a lantern in his hands.

"You told me that Tangled was your favorite movie. It doesn't float, but it lights up and is painted the same. My friends helped me out." David mumbled nervously, making Sophia giggle to herself. She had never seen him nervous, and it was pretty cute.

"David, you did all this for me?" She smiled, taking his cheek in her hand. He nodded and looked down at her, resting his forehead against hers.

"I'm serious about you and I'm serious about us."

"I'm serious about you too. I didn't want to rush you into anything you weren't ready for. I'm okay with where we're at."

"Sophia, I fall for your more and more every single day." David admitted, Sophia blushing instantly at his words.

"Good. I thought I was the only stupid one here." Sophia joked, making him laugh.

"I know you said you were insecure about us, and I don't want you to feel that way. I'm so comfortable with you, and I don't feel like this is rushing anything."

"I was just frustrated. I didn't mean that. I'm comfortable with you too and I guess that means I overshare sometimes."

"You weren't oversharing. You should always feel free to tell me how you feel." David mumbled, kissing the top of her head softly.

"In that case, I feel like you should be my boyfriend, Dobrik." Sophia smirked, pecking his lips lightly.

"I was supposed to ask you that." David protested mockingly, making the two of them laugh.

"I know, but I wanted to be able to say that I asked you when we tell everyone this story."

David shook his head and chuckled, wrapping his arms around her waist. She kissed him passionately, wrapping her arms around his neck. They pulled apart when they heard cheers behind them.

"Wow, thanks guys." David said sarcastically as Zane, Matt, and Carly emerged from the house. Sophia laughed loudly, hiding her face in his chest.

"Any time." Zane winked, David giving him the finger jokingly.

"We'll get out of your hair. We just wanted to see the happy couple." Matt said in his Southern joke voice, making them all laugh before they said their goodbyes.

"Life is never dull with you around, Dobrik." Sophia sighed happily, wrapping her arm around his frame.

"Let's keep it interesting." He smirked, throwing her over his shoulder as she screamed.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Bed."

"What about dinner?" She pouted, smacking his butt playfully.

"Seriously?"

"No."
