Daryl's P.O.V.

Daryl buried his face into his arms which were crossed on the bed. He couldn't help but pray. It felt silly for him to even be asking let alone begging for help from some god. If Merle could see him now.

"God, I only ask yah' for one thing." His voice trembled but remained firm, "let this girl live. She doesn't deserve ta' die."

"You don't pray a lot do you?" Glenn all of a sudden stated, turns out he had been standing at the door most of the time.

Daryl shook his head, "Dixon's don't need no god. But to hell with it, sometimes even I need ta' pray...hope."

"I guess this is one of those times..." Glenn replied walking over to the small girl. He was holding Indigos bear, "Found it out in the woods...when we were searching for Sophia. Indi must have dropped it out there, running from walkers probably."

Daryl stared at the raggy old bear as Glenn placed it near the little girl. He sighed taking his cap off then brushing his hand through his hair, "Should get back to the RV. See you there?"

"Yea." Glenn walked out of the room leaving the two in complete silence, "I need yah to make it okay, gods help or not."

With that said he got up leaving the girl by herself.

Flashback
[1 week before the separation of her parents and her.]

"It's final. We leave at dawn."

"What about Indi?" The small girl peeked out the crack of her hiding spot. Her parents were different, they sounded worried, unsettled even. She didn't like this.

"You heard them, Jane." Her father threw his hands in the air. His dark hair was drenched with sweat, he looked aggravated, "They warned us, children aren't allowed. She has to go."

"We can't let that happen." Jane cried and he grabbed her shoulders softly.

"We have to leave, now."

"She's eight years old, John." Jane shouted but lowered her voice, "We can't just pack up and leave. Where do you think we are going to go?!"

"Somewhere else." He told her, "somewhere they can't find, Indigo."

"Ben won't have any of this." She was afraid of her own son, "He'll tell them, everything. That we've been taking rations for Indigo. That she's here."

"Bens not like that."

"Bens not like a lot of things anymore." She replied sadly, "He has changed, Mike. We can't let them take Indigo away too."

"No! No...please don't let them take me away." Indigo burst out of her hiding spot crying. She clung onto her parents as her father picked her up. He held her close to his chest.

"Everything will be okay."

Ricks P.O.V.

Rick swapped over his shirt to a fresh one. It had been a while since he was even able to change clothes without almost being eaten alive. This place...Hershel's farm, it was a true paradise but he couldn't help but feel it wasn't going to stay like this forever. Rick grabbed his pistol slipping it into its pouch on his his belt. He slipped out of the tent greeting everyone he passed by including Carl who was sitting by the trunk of a tree. He looked lonely and Rick couldn't help but blame himself. He shook his thoughts away heading towards the house to see Indigo. As he went to enter the room, he froze in shook to see Indigo staring right back at him. Hershel by her side.

"Are you on crack?"

His lip quivered holding back the tears. He couldn't help but laugh at the little girls joke. Each step he took felt heavier and heavier as he cradled the girl, "I thought I lost you."

"You didn't lose me Rick. You found me."
