I originally planned on the first chapter being around a thousand words, but I found myself almost meeting the first milestone with the first chapter. If I was only allowed one entry I would pick this one to work on, but I've found the enjoyment I am getting from writing this is the same as with Child of the Dark Moon. There is a lot there in both despite the fact I really started digging in with the second chapter for the other story I mentioned.
What else is there to say? The focus is definitely on Ryo and not the other characters. I was a tad disappointed he didn't get an appearance in this version of Voltron, yet I honestly wasn't sure how to fit him in with the fact I write stories where Shiro and Keith are biological siblings. Strangely enough, despite all of the issues with season eight there is still room for the possibility of the two being biological siblings, plus the promise of meeting Shiro's family was never fulfilled. Doesn't mean that was the game play, but I still enjoy working with it.
