"I don't mean to sound inappropriate," Naomi told Iwaizumi, "But would you like to come inside?"
He smiled and nodded.
Naomi noticed that her parents were home, and hoped to sneak Iwaizumi upstairs without any extra conflict.

"Naomi! How was school?" She heard her mother shout.
"Fine! I'm going to bed!"
She dragged Iwaizumi upstairs and closed her bedroom door behind him.
"You're hiding me?" He chuckled.
"I don't need them to ask you a million questions."
"That's fair."

Naomi went over to her bed to move some stuff off of it.
"I didn't want you to have to walk in that rain any longer. It's no problem for you to wait until it dies down enough."

Naomi misplaced her hand on a thin box and it fell over onto the floor.
"Ah shit."
Iwaizumi came over to help her. Money was scattered everywhere.
"Holy shit, that's a lot of money."
"Yeah, Sorry."
She began to quickly stuff it back into the box. He helped her, feeling weird holding this much money in his hands.
"Why do you have so much money stacked up?"

She closed up the box and moved it over to its place on a shelf.
"Just preparing."
She sat beside him on the bed and lied back. He followed her.
"What are you preparing for?"
"Life."
"You're very descriptive, Itsu."
"Itsuwaru."
Iwaizumi felt rather embarrassed.
"Sorry, I thought it was a cute nickname for you."
"I thought you didn't like nicknames?"
"You deserve one like that."

Naomi didn't think she did.
"Do you think you'll go to Nationals?"
"In the Interhigh? Probably not."
"Do you want to?"
"Yeah."
"What about in the spring tournament?"
"I'm not sure."
"You're a good ace player. You should be able to go."
"One of the best aces in the nation will go against us. It's hard to have confidence when your opponent has that title."

"What do you want to do?" She asked.
"About what?"
Naomi played with her fingers.
"Do you know what you want to do after Highschool?"
It wasn't something third years usually brought up with each other. The thought of leaving Highschool was scary.
"I think I'd like to play professionally, but I have to have a backup, you know?"
"Yeah."
"My mom says medical school is expensive, but it would set my future rather well."

Naomi grumbled.
"My parents want me to be a nurse. It's so fucking annoying."
She covered her face with her hands.
"That or a lawyer. They're constantly bugging me about it, especially now that it's our last year."
"You probably have enough money to go to medical school," he laughed, "so I guess it just depends where you want to go."
"I don't want to go to medical school! I hate that they think they can control me. I want to pick something like that for myself."

Iwaizumi turned his body to the side, looking at her distressed face.
"What do you want to do?"
"It sounds so fucking stupid compared to you." Naomi brought her legs up to her chest and fell to the side, her hands still covering her face.
"Don't say that. I'm sure it's not."
"It is, it's so stupid".

Iwaizumi took hold of her hands and brought them down. She looked like she was about to cry.
"You can tell me Itsuwaru. I won't laugh at you or anything."
She grumbled again and sighed heavily.
"I want to go to Norway. It's where my grandmother lives and I haven't seen her since I was like ten. I want to live there with her and own a flower shop because I want to be a florist!"
Naomi dug her face down into the sheets of her bed while she waited for Iwaizumi to laugh. He didn't.

"That sounds lovely," he said.
"What?" She lifted her face.
"That sounds very sweet. Norway, I've heard, is very pretty."
"I've been wanting to live there since junior high started. I started saving all my money is sixth grade so that I'd be able to go one day."
"You probably have enough to get there."
"Not yet. I'm close to it though. I still have to go to college. I do want to do other studies, but getting there is the first priority."
"Yeah, I understand. It's a beautiful dream, Itsuwaru."

"I like yours better," she mumbled, "it's more realistic."
"Dreams can become realities. Don't give up that quickly. I'll be right here while you try and get there."
Iwaizumi leaned his face in and Naomi flinched at his gesture.
Iwaizumi started to kiss her, and she had no other option but to kiss back.

Her hands fell onto the skin of his neck, and she raised them up to hold the sides of his face. Iwaizumi was good at kissing, she had to admit that. In the back of her mind, however, Naomi wondered if Oikawa was a good kisser too. She wondered if one day Oikawa would be kissing her instead.
She started to accept the kiss a little bit more, with those thoughts lingering in the back of her mind.

When they broke apart Iwaizumi was smiling.
"A part of my dream has already come true," he told her. Naomi felt herself become incredibly red from this declaration. She knew she'd have to say something back.
"Iwaizumi-San, don't-don't say stuff like that," she pushed her face into his chest, feeling the soft material of his pullover.
"I can't help it," he admitted, "I'm not a very good liar, Itsuwaru."
She mumbled into his chest, making him laugh again.

"Being with you is like a dream," he told her, making her slowly lift her face up to him.
"I like being with you," she said, unable to string together more words that would sound appealing.
"Me too."
"I'm not very good at lying either," she lied, "so I mean it when I say I want you to spend the night with me."

Iwaizumi's eyes widened.
"You do?"
"Yes, Iwaizumi, please spend the night with me."
