You had lunch with Mia and your mom while Mia played some random videos of Jungkook being a cutie..

You were about to go back to your room to complete your assignments when your mom stopped you..

"y/n, we have new neighbors" mom said

"oh that's cool"

"I've heard the boy is hot" Mia said

"where on Earth are you hearing all this? " you said

"he's like 6 years elder to you, plus aren't you in love with that Korean guy? what's his name? Baby mochi?" mom said

"MOM" both of you said together 

"he's Jimin" Mia said

"yeah alright, but that's exactly what I had to tell you y/n, that boy is really handsome" mom said

"mom can you please stop setting me up with random dudes?" you said

Ever since your dickhead ex made a fool out of you, your mom made it her life's motive to find you someone who is good for you and not another asshole. 

It was sweet of her, but sometimes she'd randomly stop guys and ask them if they're single...when you were WITH her..and then cleared it that she was asking for her daughter...now that's where things got embarrassing..

"oh he's a smoker?" your mom asked, genuinely curious

"I dont have time to date anyone mom" you told her, still laughing

"well, at least talk to him"

"yeah okay.." "I will"

"If she won't, I will, dont worry mom" Mia said

"shut up and study Mia" your mom told her

you gave Mia one last 'I won' look and headed back to your room..
