[Shivaay - S, Rudra - Ru, Annika - A]

Om: Hello Earth to Shivaay! Where are you lost man

Ru: Yeah bhaiyya you've been zoning out a lot lately

Om: Were you even listening to what I was saying? You've been like this ever since you returned from that conference

Ru: Oh No, bhaiyya did you cheat on Kiara bhabhi? Did you do something in London with some hot babe?

S: Shut up Rudra, what nonsense.

Om: seriously Rudra, do you think Shivaay is a one night stand kinda guy

Ru: yeah you're right, for that he needs to have some game, sorry bhaiyya i doubted you

S: I'm fine guys, i have work to do

He walked out of the room

Ru: O, something is really wrong, bhaiyya totally ignored that jab

Om: I agree rudy, he looks lost

Shivaay was lost, in her thoughts. She was all he could think of. He knew this was wrong, but he couldn't get her out of his head. He often peeped into that guest room, as if she would magically appear there. 

He saw her all around the house.

S (in his mind): what is happening to me? Why can't I stop thinking about her? Why do I smile so much looking at her pictures? Scratch that, why do I keep checking her profile in the first place? Shouldn't I be thinking about Kiara, the woman I'm going to marry soon? I feel nervous yet happy and excited for some reason when I think about her. On the other hand, I feel nothing of the sort when I'm with Kiara. This can't be just attraction anymore.

A few days later, Om called for an emergency meeting with his siblings

Om: Guys, I have decided, I'm going to propose to gauri

ShivRuPri: what!!

Rudra and Priyanka started dancing while Shivaay embraced his brother.

Ru: Finally!!!

Priyanka: What have you planned, bhaiyya?

Om: You know how much she loves FRIENDS, so I have ordered a lot of candles and I'm going over to har flat to decorate the place, for a Monica-Chandler style proposal

Priyanka: wow bhaiyya this is prefect, I'm sure she will love it

Ru: Shivaay bhaiyya imagine Gauri didi says no

S: shut up rudra, don't joke about this. Om did you get a ring?

Om: Oh I bought the ring a while ago

Priyanka: When?

Om: Years ago, when I realised I was in love with her

S: Om, how did you know you loved her?

Om: It's quite intense actually. You know how daadi talks about ishqbaazi, it's all true. Love is not about making grand gestures or sending I love you messages. When she's happy, I'm happier. When she cries, my heart aches. I feel pain when she gets hurt. Nothing is my own, my life, my success, my failures. Everything belongs to her. I cannot imagine a life without her. When you're in love, you don't lose yourself, you discover new sides of yourself. You willingly give someone complete power over you. And the right person will never misuse that, they will uplift you, make you a better person, make you the best version of yourself.
