Small whimpers filled the bathroom of an apartment. “If you keep squirming it’s only going to hurt more.” You let out a cry as your ‘father’ dabbed disinfectant onto your cut up feet. Tears streamed down your face as you let out another whimper. “But- But it hurts.” The man sighed, throwing aside the cotton ball. “Don’t you know how much this hurts me?! You don’t just get to try and leave and not face any sort of consequence! I don’t want to hurt you! I don’t like seeing you in pain!” He yelled. “All I want to do is show you love but you force me into a corner!” He roughly but adequately bandaged your bleeding feet. “Next time you try to pull something like this, I’ll break your legs. That’s a promise.”
