From the moment he first held you in his arms Mirai was in love. You were so tiny and warm and utterly adorable. However, duty calls and he’d have to put you down to get any sort of work done.
One night, while your mother was out with friends, he’d decided to use his quirk on you. Just to get a quick peek at what your life would be. What he saw… scared him. He saw your mother dragging you out the front door towards a car as you cried, reaching out to someone. He had instantly picked up your sleeping body, slightly calming as you cuddled into him. He couldn't allow anyone to take you away from him. He wouldn’t allow it! So, starting from now, he would break up with your mother. You wouldn’t be allowed out of the house and very few would ever know of your existence. That way no one would take you away from him. Smiling at his plan he gave you a quick kiss on the forehead. “I will protect you from everything. I promise.”
