"I’ll cut out your tongue if you don’t stop yelling.” You wished that had been an empty threat. Well technically you still had your tongue. However they'd had one of their villain doctors do something to your vocal chords. You couldn't speak, much less scream. Ever since they'd forced you under for the surgery you'd ignored them. Every threat to disintegrate you or burn you if you didn't listen to them like a good child. You just lay in bed most days, eyes closed, mourning the loss of your voice.
They didn't understand why you were so upset. They could've taken your tongue or your eyes. They'd warned you that screaming would do nothing but warrent a punishment. So why? Why did you lay unresponsive in your bed, not eating or drinking until they manually forced you to? All they'd done was take your voice. However, their patience and confusion was running out. You would respond to them eventually and be their adorable child. You don't have a say. You would play along sooner or later if you knew what was good for you. They'd make sure of it.
