JJ —'{ chapter seven }'—
Tw ⚠️: language, mention of bruises, panic attack, abuse, drinking/alcoholism,
the next day i woke up to the sun shining through my blinds with a massive head ache aswell as having everything hurt but i still managed to get myself up out of bed
i went to my closet picked out light blue denim jean shorts and found on of jj's old hoodies and put those on as it would cover most of the brusis without needing to put make up on it
i walked into my bathroom looking at myself in the mirror i was disgusted but i procceded to wash my face before applying concelor to the aera that needed to be covered (any brusis , cuts, etc)
i left my bathroom grabbing my phone and keys before leaving my house and driving over to john b's house
i pulled up to all but john b sitting in the front kie playing ukelele , jj throwing rocks and of course pope reading i got out the car closing my door making a loud noise causing them all to look at me
"hey" i said slighty shy "PRINCESSSS!!!" jj screamed before running over to me and picking me up and spinning me around i giggled as he spun me around
i was really good at hiding the pain from my mother from the pogues there are little thigns that i cant control that they do know abt like my fear of guns and people yelling they know as little as possible
jj finally puts me down still holding my hand draggng me to where he was sitting "jj there is only room for one" i said slighly laughing jj pats his lap "come sit on my lap" he says with a smile on his face "fine" i say giving in
"hey isnt that jj's hoodie" kie notices and jj looks me up and down "maybe" i say giggling "ive been looking for this one" jj says "no you havent its been at my house for months" i say slapping his leg slightly annoyed
right as jj was gonna say something john b walks out "look im calling it off all right?" he says as he walks out we all stopped what we were doing and gave him a confused look "peterkin said if i sta out of the marsh shell help me with DSC" he continues "and you believed her?" the blonde behind me says
i slap him for his rude comment "yes i believe her jj" john b fights back at his best friend "an actual cop john b you believed a cop" jj says throwing another rock " shes a nice cop " i added
"all i gotta do is stay out of the marsh for a couple days and shell help me out it doesnt help that your ass was teh one shooting a gun" john b continues to fight back bringing up the event of last night causing me to look at kiara "guys dont start this" kie says after looking at me
" you know what i should have done ? just let topper drown your ass" the blonde goes on ignoring kie "jj stop" i said in a bit of a harsh tone "because topper was gonna drown me" john b snaps back "sure looked like it" jj goes on "funny" he laughs
