many tears had fallen which led the couple to be cuddled up in brooklyn's bed currently - obviously after tending to her injuries
"brook" jj mummers i hummed in response "i think jb, kie and pope planned to go surfing today wanna go join them" he asks
"my stomach jae i can't wear any of my bathing suits" i say as my boyfriend jumps up "wear my shirt over it" he says taking his shirt off throwing it at me
i break out into laughter "your lucky i love you" i say before getting up to change "oh but i love you more" he says also laughing
we arrive down to the shore to see our 3 friends floating on the water "got room for 2 more" i call out as me and jj run into the water "where you been love birds" kie calls out
the five of us start surfing. each of us showing off just a little. surfing was a safe space for me so being in the water was my all time favorite feeling
the waves had calmed so i decided to just float on my board and watch jj be a true pro surfer
"so what were you two busy doing" kie breaks the silence "we did nothing" i say "so you just happened to be in his shirt before y'all came here" she smirks as i try to hide my smile
"kie we didn't fuck just hung out and cuddled you know boring couple stuff" i shrugged she hummed in response
"anyway what's going on with you and john b" i do the eyebrow thing as she laughs "i thought maybe i liked him and we kissed-" i interpreted her
"you kissed john b" i shouted but the boys were far enough away that they didn't hear me "yeah he told jj so im surprised you didn't know" kie shrugged
"was he a bad kisser or something" we both laugh "i just- it didn't feel right plus i mean ir would ruin the pouges and you know no pouge on pouge macking" she says
"me and jj did it" i was quickly shot down "because you guys are perfect together you and him were destined to be together since you were 10" kie laughs
our entire girl talk continued about random things until the sun had gone down and the boys declared they were done
at the chateau we all sat outside under the night sky i was cuddled up with jj as we all layed together in the hammock this is what home should feel like
"you really think it's out there? like no bullshit" pope breaks the silence "my dad thought so" john b answers the question clearly being addressed to him
"but do you" pope clarify "i do" i whisper as jj rubs my back "after hearing his voice on that tape.. i think i do" john b states confidently
"only one way to find out"pope says as they do the signature pouge handshake "yay time for a treasure hunt" i cheer
"look we're gonna find it you know even jj believes" kie says, i let out a laugh because my boyfriend is not paying even an ounce of attention
"oh my god jj do you really believe" john b sparks up with sarcasm "totally" he pauses "omg it's a miracle" i let out
"wait are we talking about four mil" he questions "four hundred mil" me, kie and pope all say at the same time "me and brook are gonna dream about shipwrecks" jj says causing me to burst out in laughter as he fully wraps his arms around me
"goodnight bird" jj calls out to john b "goodnight bird shit" john b replies "that will never get old" i say "never" kie replies as we all slowly fall asleep on this hammock outside under the star lit sky
