it had started to get dark outside so we all headed home but me and jj ended up crash at the chatue sleeping on the couch with each other like always his arms were wraped around me as his head was in my neck and his hot breath was blowing sending shivers down my spine and thats how we slept almost everytime

i jolted up to the sound of someone banging on the door i practically fell off the couch i looked up to see john b on the other couch and jj laughing his ass of saying how scared we look "im gonna beat his ass" i said under my breath but i guess john b heard it cause he chuckled too

jj came in still laughing and sat down next to me after grabbing a beer when he sat down i took the beer and took a long sip "yea just go ahead have my beer" jj says shrugging i chuckle as i hand it back "so what are we doing today" i said as john b looked sad staring at the compass

"were gonna go see lana" he says as he gets up heading to his room probably to change i signed knowing i as gonna be a tag along so i got up to go change in the guest room

i put on light blue ripped denim shorts and what was most likely jj's shirt along with my bracletts i started doing my makeup when the door opened

"princess" he complained walking in "what" i called out he walked over wrapping his arms around my shoulder/neck resting his head on my shoulder and i stared at him in the mirror smiling before i went back to my makeup "you dont need all of that stuff brook" he said having a somewhat said look on his face

"yes i do" i sighed "even though they are healing i dont want people seeing the scars and brusises etc" i said turning around to face him "you deserve the world brooklyn caldwell" he says putting his head to my chest hugging me "you deserve the world more jj maybanks"i say i lean into his stroking his hair

our momrnt was ruined when john b opened the door saying lets go

no one ever questioned our little moments everyone knew to just roll with it even though the rule still stands 'no pogue on pogue macking' everyone left us alone maybe they knew jj was only being a good friend and maybe he didnt really like me

jj sat in the passenger seat leaving me alone in the backseat which was fine i just lyed down across all the seats listening to my bestriends conversation he was complaining about how we probably shouldnt go to lana's i mean i have to agree with him on this one her husband was just found dead and now three teenagers are gonna go harras her about a compass doesnt seem like a good idea but john b was determined to find out as much information on his dads compass and i dont blame him if i were in his shoes id do the same thing.

we pulled into lana's driveway john b didnt say a word and got out quickly "lets go brookie" jj said as he opened the side door holding a hand out i hated the nickname brookie but everyone likes to use it to tease me so instead of taking his hand i slapped his hand away and jumped out of the car following after john b hearing the van door close

"whoever lives here smokes too much weed" jj said finally catching up to me and john b " perfect place for you to live" i said shooting a glare he used the forbidden nickname its war he only rolled his eyes at me
