she stopped eventually even left the house too i was just in to much pain to get up when i finally had enough energy to get up i grabbed my keys and managed to drive myself to the chatue knowing damn well jj would be there
i looked like shit my stomatch was all brusied up my face looked like shit with my hair sticking to the dried tears and snot there was most likely blood everywhere i didnt i just want to be in his arms i was finally gonna tell him everything
i arrived to the chateu , i quickly got out the car knowing he was here i didnt care if kie and pope were here too i just needed jj i walked through the house seeing kie come out the bathroom
"omg brook" she tried saying but i pushed past her to the back room taking a deep breath before opening it seeing jj laying on the bed throwing darts at the dart board
he turned and looked at the door once he saw me he got up so fast and all u could see was this look of worry
"jj" i let out as i started to cry "b-brook" he said has his voice crack sounding hurt he walked towards me bringing me into his arms i allowed him i so deeply needed to be in his arms but once i was in them i broke down i grew weak , i could hold my body weight causeing us to stumble before jj brought us to the bed
"hey princess its ok your ok your safe i promise" he whispered moving my hair out of my face "i c-cant t-take it anymore j-jj" i cried "shhh your okay what happened" he asked now rubbing my back trying to calm me down i didnt answer
was i really ready to tell him everything that ill never know but right now i had too after about 10 minutes i had calmed down
"jj" i said breaking our long lasting silence "yes princess" he replied we were now laying in bed me laying on his chest "im ready to tell you what happened ok but dont freak out" i said he nodded
"you know how my dad died two years ago well ever since then its been my fault in my moms eyes she started with everything being verbal until about 8th grade when she hit me for the first time i thought it would only happen once but then it happened everytime i was home and my dad wasn't she was back on drugs and she didn't know what she was doing and thats why i flinch and thats why i dont swim as long as the rest of you or like it when you smoke or drink and dont like guns but after my dad died she sent Lucas away and she didn't care she hit me whenever she wanted " i took a breath seeing jj tense up
"but today was the worst u left and i went inside to the smell of weed and alcohol per usual and there she was in the kitchen she came close to me yelling causing me to just slid down the wall but then she started kicking and kicking and jj she wouldnt stop not till i was spitting out blood but all i wanted was to be in your arms to feel safe again she finished and left but i just lied there i couldnt move i was in so much pain when i had the energy to move i came here i dont wanna go back but i know shell come looking eventually its just so hard now" at this point i was now crying into jj's chest he was frozen , speechless if that
"that son of a bitch" he said under his breath he looked down on me and tightened his grip around me "i will always protect you ok always i promise" he said as he kissed the top of my head "get some rest princess you look like u could use it" he whisper as i snuggled deeper into him before closing my eyes the last thing i heard was
"i love you"
JJ i watched the broken girl i was inlove with sleep how could someone that shares the same blood even do such a thing it wasnt fair brooklyn deserved the world and at this point i was gonna give it to here
i was taken out of my thought by a knock on my door "come in" i said just loud enough that i wouldnt wake brook up kie then walked in with concern written all over her face
"what happened she walked right past me when she got here looked like she had blood every where" kie said rather fast starring at the girl laying on my chest
"she will tell you when shes ready just keep this between us ok i dont think brook wants all the pouges knowing" i said looking down on her
"GUYS LETS GO WERE BACK" pope yells as he runs through the house unto the room stopping like hed seen a ghost
"what happened"he questioned looking back and forth between me and kie "brook fell asleep while we were all talking will meet u out there i need to change and wake her up" i said with a convincing smile as him and kie walk out closing the door behind them
"princess" i say as i rub her arm lightly "hmm" she replys "u gotta get up john b's back" i said she slowly sat up rubbing her eye it was as if she forgot what we were doing so i reminded her "were going on the boat with the tanks to find the lost boat remember" i said as she looked down at her clothes "jj i need to change but i dont have clothes" she said frantically getting up
i followed behind stopping her from pasing around the room "u can borrow a shirt from me and ill get shorts from kie ok" i say as she sign in relief "ok" she says as i leave closing the door behind me i see kie in the kitchen
"psst kie" i whisper "whats up" she says "you got an extra pair of shorts brook needs some" i ask"yea in my car here ill go get them"she says running out to her car
she comes back with them handing them to me as i go back into the room slowly opening the door to see her sitting on the bed in my shirt
i toss the shorts to her and leave again giving her privacy to change
jj had tossed me a pair of shorts and closed the door before leaving i quickly put them on not wanting to hold anyone up i stand up looking into the mirror not exactly liking what i saw but brushed it off before queitly opening the door heading down the hall as i heared faint nosies before i entered the kitchen area where are the pogues were as i walked right to jj and he embraced me with a hug not letting go
"to the boat" john b yells as we all head out to the boat
