It was a cold winter day in the city that never sleeps, and you just got out of your job at the café, already ready to go home and relax all day. As you stepped outside the café, you froze. Not because of the cold wind that was blowing, but because you saw him.
There was Bob, your Bobby, walking side by side with a beautiful girl you didn't know. He had a cigarette on his lips as usual, and she was smiling.
You felt the urge to run away, but your feet didn't move. Neither of them saw you as they walked by the street, too busy talking with each other to notice you. Inside, your heart was ripped in pieces. You knew that one day Bob would find someone new, but you just never thought he would forget you so easily.
