There's a comfortable silence in the car as mine and Ethan's fingers are intertwined. It feels great. It is time we take our relationship forward. I just hope this date goes well. What I feel for Ethan is more than love but it's not lust. I know he didn't have very successful relationships in the past and neither did I. Well those weren't relationships. But today I wanna see what he feels for me. Does he feel the same as I do? Let the past be in the past.
I look over and see Ethan with a worried expression looking out the window. What happened to him?
"Hey what happened?" I asked looking at him.
"Huh oh nothing" he said and shrugged his shoulders but I somehow found that unsatisfying.

"You know you can tell me anything right" I said tightening the grip of our fingers.
"Yeah I'm just nervous nothing else" he said. I could see a few sweat beads on his forehead which indicated that he was more than just nervous.
He nodded and released a breath and looked out.
After driving for a few more minutes we finally reached our destination.

His eyes widen which told me that he loves the view.
"Do you like it?" I asked him with hopeful eyes.
He turned to me and hugged me. I wrapped my arms around him tightly and hugged him back.
"This is so beautiful" he said and I released a breath.
"Come on let's go" I took his hand and walked towards the candlelight area.
I pulled out a chair for him and then went to mine.
"So what do you wanna have?" I aksed handing him the menu and taking one myself.
He looked at the menu and then looked here and there. His face clearly showed that he didn't know what to order. I was waiting for my flower as I already knew what I wanted. But it looks like he need some help.
"Um Alex can you order for me too" Ethan asked looking nervous.
"Of course my flower, anything you want" I told him him the softest voice ever.
