"Yeah, I'm reaching there. Arrange the paintings, I want the set up to look perfect."

Kabir demanded as he walked downstairs. He greeted abhilash and touched janki's feet.

"Good morning!"

"Good morning, beta! Are you going out?"

"Yeah uncle! My team has arranged an exhibition, there we will arrange competitions and then give scholarships to the winners who are interested im learning the art."

He answered smilingly whole pouring some water for himself.

"So you are a Painter! Huh! Bloody Painter!"

Kabir snapped at her and gave a hard glare to her which she shrugged off by her devilish smirk.

"He is a renowned artist aakriti. People went berserk for just having a look of his collections.

Abhilash told her with a proud feeling which earned a smile from kabir.

"Seriously dad? They waste time for some shitty paintings?___"

"Did I tell you that your brain has stopped working?" Kabir suddenly interrupted her with a bitter smile.

She narrowed her eyes and looked at him as if she saw some alien.

"Excuse me!"

"You are excused, Miss batameez!"

He answered glaring at her and stood up from his place.

"I will leave now uncle. Take care nani!" Giving a side hug to his granny he left. But not before he exchanged some death looks with aakriti.

She cursed him under the breathe and focused back in her breakfast.

"Send me the details soon!"

She instructed and got inside the cabin. Sitting alone on the chair she was feeling lonely.

It was always her, none was in her life. When she needed her mother the most she wasn't there. Her father tried his best but at the end how much will he do? She used to ask for her mother but he never answered. She didn't even know that even if her mother was alive untill one day when janki was complaining to abhilash on why he received that woman's call.

She got to know that her mother is alive, she tried to know who is she but failed as both her father and grandmother never showed a single image of hers. They neither talked anything bad about her and nor did tell good things.

Aakriti threw her head back and sat silently with her eyes closed untill the voice caught her.

"Mam!"

"Yes?" She alerted and straightened herself.

"You have a meeting__"

"Cancel it! I'm leaving." She told and walked ahead.

"But__"

"Do you have anything to say, Arya?" Her line shut the lady. She shook her head negatively and aakriti smirked.

The house was filled with giggles which pulled her attention. Kabir was working in the kitchen throwing his humorous jokes which was making the elders laugh.

Aakriti took few minutes to check him out. He was wearing a round neck black vest with creamy jogger underneath. She saw his muscles twisting as he was chopping the veggies. His hair neatly combed and few curls falling on his forehead which was adding the fuel in his hotness. She appreciated his beauty.
