Closer

Energy was sucked out of that fragile hand, like her soul had escaped her body
Only her unfulfilled promise lingered on her fingertips

We said goodbye on a sunny day
The roar of distant thunderstorms rang in my ears
(I couldn't shed a single tear anymore)

Closer
I wanna be closer
Until my ears are filled with your voice
This body of yours, I wonder if it can slowly fill up the hole in my heart
