You say I've gone through too much
I've wandered down the hallways of hate and love
And I know I've been crying for days and these tears become rivers all over my face
I know
You worry
But, it washes all away to the sea
They say this life is hard and yes, I've tried to part with it
But, I can't ever leave your side
It must be scary for you to see me all folded up in myself
But, just sit tight
I know
You worry
Just keep me in your arms
I'm kind of intense, I know
I've got more going on than most
It's a lot to take, I know
But, this darkness creeps in and sometimes I just have to go
So, don't you worry
'Cause it washes all away to the sea
So, keep me in your arms
