"Oh man! Check this out! It's a super-rare magic stone!

As soon as Cale woke up, he was dragged by Lucifer to go shopping with him, together with Mammon. Now he is stuck with them. Again.

Cale stares at the magic stones that Mammon claims to be super rare. The magic stones look like they are mid-grade magic stones.

"It's on sale, too? It says it's today's featured item..."

12,000 grimms per magic stone with 30% off. That would be around 8,400 grimms. It was very cheap. Well, at least for Cale. He could buy the whole magic stones but decided not to. He has thousands of highest-grade magic stones, why would he need the mid-grade?

"If I broke it into smaller pieces and sold those individually, I'd make serious bank...Heheheh..."

Mammon mumbled. He then turned his head towards Lucifer with a bright expression on his face.

"Lucifer, my favorite big brother! You gotta buy that for me! You gotta!"

Cale sighs. Magic stones are rare, yes. However, breaking them into pieces would make the quality worse and mana contained inside the magic stone would make it lesser. Mammon did not know that but Cale does. He is surrounded with mages and dragons, how could he not know that?

Cale could see Mammon pleading to Lucifer to buy him the magic stones.

"C'mon, I gotta have it! If you don't buy it for me, I'm gonna feel saaaaad. I'll end up cryin'...I'll throw a tantrum...and you don't want that, do ya?"

Lucifer could feel the embarrassment crawling through his skin.

"Leave him be, Cale. Pretend you don't know him."

Lucifer pulled Cale's hand as they started walking away from Mammon. They stopped by the next store, completely ignoring Mammon.

"Lucifer, come oooooon!"

Mammon managed to catch up with them but still didn't give up on persuading Lucifer to buy him the magic stones.

"I mean, tell me how this is fair, huh?! Here it is my day off, and draggin' me out shopping with you! And you're not gonna reward me for it? C'mon, you could at least buy me a magic stone...or a hundred!"

Mammon shamelessly exclaimed.

Lucifer couldn't take it and faced Mammon.

"So now you're going to try getting angry at me? As if that would work...And seriously, a reward? What are you, a child?"

Lucifer moved closer to Mammon as he continued.

"The entire reason I brought you along with me to begin with is to get away from Satan."

Lucifer is not making the same mistake again.

"When you two paired up, nothing good ever comes of it, especially when I am expected to clean up the mess."

That made Mammon's mouth shut.

Lucifer let out a deep sigh.

"Tomorrow is my big speech. It's almost time...and yet the curse that caused us to switch bodies shows no signs of going away. Which means I have no guarantee that I will be back to myself in time for the speech."
