35. Taking Care Of Her

Saif's Pov:

I am feeling a mixture of emotions.
Happiness, excitement, nervousness all together.
But keeping it all aside, I want to hug Mahi right now.
I am waiting impatiently for her.

Time skip
After 2 hours

I was lying on bed.
Door opened and Huma aapi enter with Mahi.
As soon as I see her I sit instantly with a jerk causing me whimper a little in pain.
"Oh my, careful!" Huma aapi exclaimed.
I laugh at my silliness.
Mahi came and sat beside me on the bed.
She hug my tightly.
Again I whimper a little in pain as she is holding me too tightly.
She tried to move backward but I didn't let her get apart from me.

Huma aapi went out leaving us alone.
I heard her sobbing.
"Why are you crying baby?" I asked stroking her head.
"Saif, I was so scared" she said sobbing.
"It's ok" I said.
"For a moment my heart stopped beating, you...(sob) are very bad Saif" she said.
"I know, I am very bad" I chuckle.
"No" she said.
I laugh.
"Promise me, (sniff) that you will never leave me. I will die (hiccup) without you." she said.
"I promise, I will always be with you. Fi dunya wal akhirah" I said and close my eyes feeling her warmth.

(In this world and hereafter)

She faced me, I wipe her tears.
"Don't cry mi amore" I said.
She peck my forehead then my cheeks.
She hold my face between her palms.

"I love you" she said.
My eyes turn teary.

"Say it again" I whispered.
"I am in love with you" she gasped.
"Again" I request.
"I am in love with you" she repeat.
"Once more" I said.
"I love you" she said, tears are streaming down her face.
"One more time Mahiya" I said.
"We love you Saif" she said with a hiccup and starts crying again.

I engulf her in a hug.
This time no one talks, nor I neither her.
We keep crying in each other's arms.

"We both love you Saif" she said.
"I love you both more" I said.

"Ok, enough of our crying session" I said while wiping my tears.
"You look cute while crying" she chuckled.
"I am going to be a father. I can't believe" I said.
"Yess" she exclaimed.
"I can't wait to hold our baby" I said.
I put her forehead on mine.

And believe me, this is the most peaceful moment of my life.
I feel complete.

Time skip
After 15 days

Soon I got discharged from the hospital. I am doing pretty good now.
I tell Mahi everything whatever Rabia and Amaan said to me that day in the hospital.
She said that honestly she didn't care about them now.
And she is right. We are starting our family.
We should focus on ourselves now.
Huma aapi is 2 months pregnant, while Mahi is in her 1st month.
Doctors said that she is weak and advised her complete bed rest.
I am worried about her.
Firstly, her body is weak, it's not much strong for carrying a baby and
Secondly, about her pain. I am so scared how is she gonna give birth.
It will cause her pain.
I don't want her to bear any pain but what can I do!?
I am so worried and scared but I am happy too.
May she and the baby both be healthy.

We all are taking taking care or her.
Mummy don't let her do any work. She takes care of her diet properly.
She always make sure that Mahi eat fruits and all.
Even Huma aapi is taking care of her very much while
she herself is pregnant.
Zohair bhai always make sure to fill the fridge with fruits, chocolates, juices and ice creams.
Mahi often feels like vomiting after eating.
Sometimes she just vomit with the smell of the food.
Sometimes she feel dizziness.
Doctor said that it's normal during pregnancy.
