Jaehwa stood in the hospital room, his eyes fixed on the Operation Theatre where Hyunjin lay, his broken nose being operated on. The room was filled with the sterile smell of disinfectant, the beeping of machines, and the hushed voices of medical staff. Jaehwa's mind was in turmoil, thoughts racing as he tried to make sense of the situation.

"Everything is not as black and white as it seems," he muttered to himself, his voice barely above a whisper.

He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story than met the eye.

Jungkook had been conscious when they found him, and there was no smell of alcohol or drugs on him.

Y/n's lips had smelled of something strange, a scent that Jaehwa couldn't quite place, but he had caught the same smell on Hyunjin.

How could it be that Hyunjin was the one injured and Jungkook was the one in bed?

As he watched the doctors work on Hyunjin, Jaehwa's confusion grew.

This was not a drunken mistake on Jungkook's part, of that he was certain.

There was something else at play here, something darker and more sinister. Jaehwa couldn't help but wonder if he really knew his son at all.

Lost in his thoughts, Jaehwa barely noticed when the surgeon emerged from the Operation Theatre. The man was dressed in scrubs, his face hidden behind a surgical mask. Jaehwa approached him, his heart pounding in his chest.

"How is he?" Jaehwa asked, his voice tense.

The surgeon looked at him, his eyes tired but kind. "The surgery was successful. Hyunjin will need some time to recover, but he should be fine."

Relief flooded through Jaehwa, but it was short-lived. The surgeon's next words sent a chill down his spine.

"Mr. Jeon, there's something you should know. We found traces of a drug in Hyunjin's system. It's a powerful sedative, one that could have caused him to lose consciousness as well as temporary memory loss."

Jaehwa's blood ran cold.

A sedative?

But why would Hyunjin have been drugged?

And why did Y/n's lips and Hyunjin smell of the same strange scent?

Y/n also complained of not remembering what happened last night and their lips smelled of same kind of drugs....

It means both Hyunjin and Y/n were drugged.

Determined to get to the bottom of things, Jaehwa turned to leave the hospital room. He had a feeling that this was just the beginning of a much larger and more dangerous mystery. And he was determined to uncover the truth, no matter what it took.
