[3 days later]

The wedding day dawned bright and clear, the sun casting a warm glow over the Jeon household. The air was filled with the sound of wedding bells chiming in the distance, signaling the start of a day filled with love and celebration. Inside, the house was a hive of activity as the family prepared for the big event.

Mirae and Jaehwa were busy putting the final touches on the decorations, their hands working deftly as they adorned the house with flowers and ribbons.

Haneul and Minjun were in the kitchen, their voices mingling with the delicious smells of food being prepared for the feast. Yoongi and the rest of the family were running errands, making sure that everything was in place for the ceremony.

The wedding was a homegrown affair, with the Jeon household transformed into a wedding venue. The living room had been tastefully decorated, serving as the ceremonial place where Jungkook and Y/n would exchange their vows.

Outside, the backyard had been set up for a grand party, with lights strung up and tables laden with food and drinks.

Despite the festive atmosphere, there was a palpable contrast between Y/n and Jungkook's preparations.

Y/n was in Mirae's room, surrounded by her friends who were helping her get ready. The room was filled with laughter and excitement of her friends while Y/n mostly remained silent, a stark similarity to the quietness that enveloped Jungkook's room.

The halls and corridors of the house, which had once held testament to the closeness between Y/n and Jungkook, now seemed to echo with a sense of distance and estrangement.

Despite the coldness between them, the house itself seemed to radiate warmth and love. The walls seemed to whisper stories of the bond that had once existed between Y/n and Jungkook, a bond that had been strong enough to withstand any storm.

Jungkook stood in front of the mirror in his room, the soft light filtering in through the curtains casting a gentle glow over him.

He was still in his pajamas, not yet ready to face the day ahead. He looked at his reflection, his eyes tired and his expression pensive.

As he stared at himself, he couldn't help but think back to the conversation he had with Y/n three days ago.

The hurt and insecurity in her eyes had cut him to the core, and he couldn't shake the memory from his mind. He had never realized just how many insecurities she harbored, how deeply she doubted him.

"I never knew," he whispered to his reflection, his voice filled with regret. "I never knew she had so many doubts, so many insecurities."

He rubbed his face, trying to shake off the feeling of failure that gnawed at him.
