Chapter Eighteen

Sarahs POV

I open my eyes to see I'm in an unfamiliar room, in a place outside of my pack territory. I stand up and see I'm cuffed, my wrists only and the chain is long enough for me to stand by the window. I see people outside walking around, talking, they look normal but then I see some with red eyes, vampires.

I then remember what happened, my father took me, god I hate calling him that but I still don't know his name. The door opens and I look over snapping out of my thoughts to see him walk in
"Morning" He says
"Where am I?" I ask, he sighs
"Your new home, they won't be able to find you here since I made sure your scent is locked up in just this house" He says
"They'll still find me, they don't need my scent to do it. We werewolves have many ways of finding each other, especially when we're in the same pack or mates" I say
"I know that too sweetheart that's why I did a little something something to your wolf as you slept. So it's just me and you" He says, I get pissed
"You hurt my wolf?!" I yell and try to attack him but the cuffs dont let me reach him
"She's okay, just a little disoriented" He says smiling a little, I shake my head glaring
"What do you want?" I spit out
"Strength and power. You're going to give it to me" He says, I laugh dryly
"What makes you so sure?" I ask
"You wouldn't want your precious pack to get smaller and smaller" He says
"Dont you dare touch my pack" I say
"I wont, if you give me what I want" He says, I cross my arms
"How do I give it to you?" I ask, he smiles again
"I have to help you fully grasp your fairy side first" He says
"How long will this take?" I ask
"As long as it needs to, could be days or it could also be months" He says
"I'm not staying here for months so you better be one heck of a teacher" I say
"Well, dads are the ones to teach their child so it's in me to have to teach you" He says
"You're not my dad" I say
"Oh but Sarah, I am" He says then starts towards the door
"Whats your name?" I ask making him freeze
"John" He says then leaves, I sigh heading back to the bed. I close my eyes as I lean back
"Lola, you there?" I mind link my wolf
"Barley, he has me weak. So so weak" Lola whimpers
"Can you feel Mason? Levi? Mom? Anyone?" I ask
"No, I'm too weak. Maybe tomorrow I'll have strength to contact one of them" She says, I nod
"We have to try and fight off whatever he is doing to us, okay Lola? Fight it off" I say, she nods then I open my eyes and sigh
"Oh Mason, Mom, Dad, I'm okay. I don't know for how long though" I whisper as I sit on the bed, my fingers moving slowly, a golden ball of light starts forming in between my finger tips making my eyes slightly widen, I stop moving my fingers and it vanishes.

Masons POV

Her scent is nowhere, I can't feel her, I can't track her. We're all blindly trying to find her and it's leading us nowhere. I sit near the small lake she'd come to all the time, tossing pebbles into it.
"There you are" I look over my shoulder to see Steve, he sits next to me
"We'll find her" He says after a minute of silence, I sigh
"In how long though? The longer it takes the more time they have to do something to her" I say
"She's not a weak girl Mason, she's able to defend herself" He says, I toss another pebble
"I know but, I'm her mate. I'm supposed to protect her" I say then I hear something in my head, a soft whisper
"I'm okay" The soft whisper says, Levi perks his ears up
"Mate" He says, I look at Steve
"She's okay" I say, he furrows his brows
"How do you know?" He asks
"I heard her, it was low and weak but she's trying to communicate with us. She's okay though" I say, he puts a hand on my shoulder smiling
"Told you she can handle it, now I'm sure she got that to her parents too. Hopefully she can tell us where she is soon, for now though, we keep looking" He says, I nod standing up with him
"Hearing her gave me more motivation, come on" I say running in wolf speed, he follows close behind as I head back to the Redwood pack house.
