Epilogue Pt. II

Sixteen Years Later

"Mom! Dad! Jordan is using my bathroom again!" Jasmine yells, I bury my face into my pillow
"Babe, your kids are arguing again" Mason says, I pull my head up to look at him
"I dealt with them yesterday, it's your turn" I say, he sighs getting up
"And don't put the blame on Jordan because Jasmine is your princess, she knows there are more bathrooms available!" I say sitting up, as Mason walks out Jaden walks in dressed and ready for school
"Mom, I need to talk to you" He says, I nod patting the emptiness next to me. He sits with me, I kiss his cheek and he smiles at the gesture

"What's wrong?" I ask
"How do you know you found your mate?" He asks
"Why do you ask?" I ask
"Because I like this girl at school but I don't want to pursue her if in three months I'll have to break up with her for my mate" He says
"Well, I'm a proud mom hearing that you are not one of those boys that just gets the girl then has a new one the following week" I say, he chuckles
"My friends think I'm gay for that" He says, I shake my head
"You're just smart" I say, he nods
"So, how does one know?" He asks
"Well, sometimes you can just feel the person is the one but you really truthfully know until you turn sixteen because that's when her scent will reach you and pull you to her and her to you" I say, he sighs
"What if she's a vampire or just not a werewolf? Would that be okay?" He asks, I look at him
"Is the girl you like a vampire?" I ask, he shrugs
"That doesn't matter mom, just tell me. Would it affect our pack?" He asks, I smile shaking my head
"It wont" I say
"Okay, well I should get going. I'll see you after school, love you mom" He says placing a kiss on my cheek then leaves the room as his Dad walks in

"Have a good day Jaden!" Mason yells
"Love you dad!" Jaden yells back
"What happened with Jas and Jordan?" I ask
"She finished getting ready in the bathroom downstairs and Jordan was being himself wanting to tick his sister off" He says laying on me
"And it worked" I say, he nods connecting our lips
"The kids gone?" I whisper, he nods as his hand travels up my shirt
"All gone" He whispers kissing my neck
"Oh god" I moan out then our clothes are off and we make love.

3 Months Later

"Happy birthday!" Mason, Jordan and I say as Jasmine and Jaden walk into the kitchen
"Today you two may find your mates, I'd like to meet the guy if you find him" Mason says to Jasmine who rolls her eyes
"Dad please don't scare him off if I do" She says hugging him
"I'll try" He says, I hug Jaden
"My baby boy, hopefully that girl you were talking to me about is your mate" I say
"Hopefully" He says then I hug my girl as he hugs his Dad
"Jasmine, if you get rejected. Moon goddess forbid it happens, but if it does happen, take it like a Black would. Take it head on and accept it because that idiot doesn't deserve you if he rejects you" I say, she smiles nodding
"Grandma Rose told me about her story, I know what I have to do to get me someone like Grandpa Derek. To get me someone who deserves me, thanks Mom" She says hugging me again
"I love you" I say
"I love you too" She says

"Jaden, Jas" Jordan says making his siblings look at him, Mason and I smile at each other as he wraps his arm around my shoulders
"I, well Mom and Dad, got you two something but I helped pick them! So credits go to me" He says making me smile
"What is it butthead?" Jasmine asks, Jordan pulls out two big black cases
"This is yours" He says handing it to his sister
"And this ones yours" He hands the other to his brother, they look at the cases skeptically but kneel down to open them, they open them in sync and their eyes widen at the sight
"You guys like them?" Mason asks
"Oh my god! Yes!" Jasmine says pulling out the bow and arrow, newest model of the year and designed to kill anything. When I say anything, I include vampires in the mix.

"This is beautiful" Jaden says pulling out a shot gun Jordan has been telling us he's been obsessed over. I wrap my arms around Mason's torso smiling at the sight of my happy children.
"We're doing good, don't you think?" Mason whispers, I nod
"Our family is beautiful" I say looking up as he looks down then he pecks my lips
"I love you" He says
"I love you" I say then we look over at our children to see our oldest are letting their younger brother hold their gifts
"You two can go hunting after school, now go or you'll all be late" I say
"Okay, thanks for the gifts" Jaden says hugging me then his dad, Jasmine follows his example adding a kiss on our cheeks
"You guys are going to experience your first shift today so don't be scared when it happens, mind link us if it's too painful" I say, they both nod
"Love you Mom and Dad!" The three call out as they head out of the door
"Have a good day!" Mason calls out as they run into the woods

"Mom! I can't, I can't stand it!" Jasmine mind links me at noon, I drop the basket of folded clothes and run with all the speed I have to their high school
"Honey, where are you?" I mind link her as I try to follow her scent but it's all mixed up with the scents of the others. I come to a girls bathroom and walk in seeing her on the floor in the corner holding her head
"Baby, come here. We need to get you outside" I say, I kneel down picking her up
"It hurts, it hurts a lot" She whimpers making Lola and I whimper as well as she grips my shirt, we make it outside and I see Mason with Jaden going into the forest. I follow them and we get together
"Honey, you guys will be okay. Let the pain take over, let that voice come alive" I tell them, I take their hands letting them grip them
"Jaden, Jasmine, let it happen. Stop trying to stop it" Mason says
"Move, move, move" Jaden says, we back up giving them space then Jaden shifts first. It starts through his eyes, they glow bright red like his fathers, then he gets black fur and he starts getting on his four legs. He's beautiful. A scream makes us look at Jasmine to see she's shifting as well, her eyes are purple like her Grandma Rose and her fur is a beautiful silver color. My children are truly beautiful.
"Run" I whisper, they look at me and I can see a smile in their eyes then they take off deep into the forest.
