Your sitting on the couch with Jungkook sitting next to you with your hand in his. Across from you is Taehyung and Jimin surprisingly.
You would have thought Jimin would be dead by now by the hands of Jungkook but no, he's calmly drinking a glass of wine.
" what the hell is going on?!" You ask and they all stare at each other as if whether or not they should tell you.
Jungkook sighs and faces you.
" what should I clear up?" He asks
" hmm... EVERYTHING!" You yell
" like why did you tell me to run when you kidnapped me, one second your cold then sweet and it's frustrating not knowing!" You say fed up
" ohh sorry *laughs* yes I kidnapped you but I went undercover a while back. Jungkook had no idea and thought I betrayed him but that wasn't the case. I acted like that but never meant any harm towards you, when they told me I had to kidnap you I informed Taehyung since Jungkook wouldn't answer my calls to prevent you from this whole mess and having my cover blown." Jimin explains and it's making your head hurt.
" then why did you hit me in the back of the head with a gun knocking me unconscious, if you meant no harm as you said" you asks
" JIMIN!" Jungkook stands up furious and Jimin looks scared
" T-there were cameras everywhere, I had to they were still suspicious of me" Jimin quickly responds to save himself from a beating. Jungkook sits back down but gives Jimin a death glare.
" why did he want to kidnap me and who is he?" You ask
" his name is Jack Pai, and he found a way to ruin Jungkook and that was through you. Everyone knows that Jungkook is untouchable, that he has no weaknesses but then pictures showed up of you two in the mall" Taehyung explains
" the person who took the pictures was someone who worked for Jack Pai" Jimin says
The initials P.J wasn't for Park Jimin but Pai Jack. So he's been plotting his plan since then. He's the one who sent the letter all those years ago.
The fight at the party between Jungkook and Jimin was just Jimin pretending. Jungkook was oblivious but in order to retrieve you back Jimin had to blow his cover because he knew Jungkook and you would be dead the second he got what he wanted.
" He thought in order to be king mafia is to take me down and that would be by taking you hostage... I'd do whatever any one asks me if they threaten you" Jungkook says sadly looking down
" This is a lot to handle I mean it all seems surreal" you say trying to understand everything and place your hand over Jungkook's.
" basically Jimin went undercover in order to bring down Pai Jack from the inside but things got complicated when he had to kidnap you that's when he brought Jungkook and I into the loop and explained everything to us" Taehyung says
" I would have brought him down if Jungkook picked up the phone call to warm him that I have orders to kidnap y/n so he could double security or cause a blood bath so I could still be under cover but no, gosh Jungkook your so stubborn" Jimin says and crosses his arms playfully
" you should have told me in the first place that you'd be going undercover then this could have been avoided!" Jungkook defends himself
" aish" Jimin sighs
" there's one more thing I'm confused about tho" you say and break the intense stare down Jungkook and Jimin were having.
" what is it?" Jungkook asks
" the phone calls between you and Jimin sounded like you both really wanted to rip each others heads off, you threatening to kill Jimin and you threatening Jungkook you'd harm me" you say
" as I said before I was being intensely watched by Jack that my phone was copied, meaning any calls or texts I'd get he could see and hear any time he likes. I informed Jungkook about it through a burner phone I had that I used to reach Taehyung about the kidnapping" Jimin explains
" doesn't mean I wasn't worried though, I felt like the plan would fail and I'd never see you again y/n" Jungkook says and hugs you tightly.
You hug him back and you start to feel sleepy from all the shit you went through.
" I think we should get some rest now" Taehyung says yawning
" goodnight guys" Jimin says.
Taehyung and Jimin go to their rooms. Jungkook stands up from the couch and extends his hand out for you to take.
You gladly take his hand and he pulls you against his body. He lifts you up and carries you bridal style. You rest your head on his chest as he walks to the room.
Entering a room he closes the door and sets you gently on the bed.
He hangs his head down and falls on his knees besides the bed. He pulls at his hair.
"Jungkook I-"
" I'm sorry" he sobs hugging you tightly
" I'm so sorry y/n" he repeats over and over again like a broken toy.
" I- I was so worried that he would find out Jimin betrayed him and you'd be hurt. I'm so sorry I left you that day, I should've been home because your more important than work. I'm so sorry"
" sshh I'm alright Jungkook and it wasn't your fault" you hug him back and run your hand through his hair.
"I'm so sorry y/n" he looks at you, eyes still wide and incredibly round in worry.
" I promise I'll protect you" he continues to cry. You've never seen this side of him before. Jungkook never cries unless he's really frightened. You hate seeing him like this.
" Jungkook I know you will" you coo
" but don't forget..." he moves so he can see your face and you cup his face and wipe the tears with your thumbs.
"... it's okay to be scared but I'm here to help you through it" you smile and peck his lips.
He stares into your eyes and then to your pink lips. He leans in and kisses you. His arms wrap around you securely as he deepens the kiss.
" let's get some rest y/n" he says breaking the kiss. You just hum in agreement and lay against his body giving you warmth.
He wraps his arms around you and kisses the top of your head and both drift off to sleep.
