you left but now
my sadness is your demand

you can make my body shake
you can make me smile with, "hi"
awhile ago, you asked me to wait

i promised you i would
but then, you moved on
and i wasn't sure if i should

now i've met somebody
she makes me smile
she makes me happy

and again
here you are
begging me to wait

i remember when you said,
"fuck you, you broke my heart"
yet you forgot about the many times
you lied and shattered mine

i wanted you...
