thousands of photos
that i have taken of you
in my memories
and in all of them
they remind me of the different
parts of you
the ones that i have saved
that are shaped like puzzle pieces
and put together in my mind
the edges match
but the pictures do not blend
because they simply make
a beautiful abstract of complexity
which is all i wanted to see
it is everything i've ever loved about you
you are my abstract.
