"Do you want to meet me tomorrow?" Yoongi asked me, taking a bite of his smooth vanilla ice cream.

"Uh, sure," I said, slurping my chocolate milkshake. "What time?"

"Noon?" He asked, looking around the paved street we were walking on.

"Sure. So, lunch?"

"Okay," he replied. "Just meet me at the bench."

I nodded. At that moment, my phone vibrated. I took it out to see a text from my mom.

Mom: Where r u?!

Me: Out

Mom: Where 'out?'

Me: With friends

Mom: Did u eat?

Me: Yeah. At Panda Express

Mom: Come soon

Me: Alright

I put my phone back in my pocket.

"Who was that?" Namjoon asked from my other side.

"My mom," I replied. "She wants me to come back soon."

"Okay," Yoongi said. "We can leave now. It's getting late."

I checked the time. It was 8:56.

"Yeah," I sighed. "Where's the bus stop?"

We looked around for a bit, but there didn't seem to be any nearby bus stops.

"We'll just take a taxi," Namjoon said.

Shrugging, I called a taxi. We hopped in, Namjoon on my left and Yoongi to my right.

I was in the middle.

Awkward.

The taxi took off, taking us to the hotel. I looked out the windows at the passing stores and palm trees. A few minutes later, I felt something thud against my shoulder.

It was Yoongi's head.

He had fallen asleep.

I lightly poked his shoulder.

Nothing.

"Don't wake him up," Namjoon said casually, taking his phone.

"Will he explode?"

He pondered this for a second. "Basically."

I raised my eyebrows.

Okay then.

After a bit, I got used to the warmth of his body, his head on my shoulder, his arm touching mine as the taxi moved.

Finally, we arrived.

"Yoongi," Namjoon said, reaching over me to wake him up. He said something in Korean.

Yoongi yawned and got up, stretching his arms. He looked at me. "Oh, sorry." He blushed.

"It's fine," I replied. We got out of the taxi, thanked the driver, and headed into the hotel building.

We entered the elevator and pressed our floor numbers.

We reached my floor.

"Um, I'll see you tomorrow," I said. "Have a nice night."

"You too, Em," Yoongi said awkwardly.

I smiled. "Bye, Namjoon."

He waved at me.

I walked to my hotel room, feeling quite joyful. I was sure my eyes were bright, and I found it hard not to skip down the hallway to my room.
